Medical statement for Dutch driving license?
Dear readers,
My Dutch driving license has expired. I need a medical statement, which must be submitted in Dutch. The questionnaire has already been sent to me. Can anyone recommend me a doctor who can take care of it?

BE well hua hin has a Dutch doctor.
It might be useful to indicate where you are exactly. Now we don't even know if you are in Thailand or elsewhere. Thailand is also quite big so please state region and or place.

The statement must be completed by a doctor with a BIG registration. (BIG = Professions in Individual Healthcare). Last August I had my Report of the Doctor questionnaire completed by a Thai doctor associated with the Be Well Clinic in Hua Hin. The two Dutch doctors working there were not present at the time, but countersigned the statement from the Netherlands and entered their BIG number on the questionnaire. They have helped me more than excellently and it is quite possible that one or both Dutch doctors are now present.
I also had to have a Report from the Ophthalmologist and translated the Dutch questionnaire into English and had it completed by a Thai ophthalmologist in Hua Hin (without a BIG registration number).
In a plea to the CBR I explained that traveling to NL was not possible at that time because returning to Thailand was impossible. The CBR then accepted both of my questionnaires and issued a fitness to drive certificate for three years until I turned 75.

Not possible in Thailand. There is no Dutch doctor who is still allowed to work here and the medical examiners must have the BIG code. The retired doctors have been deregistered from the register. Unfortunately, you have to have it done in the Netherlands. It took me 1,5 years to find a doctor here. Its a shame, but there is nothing to do about it.

BE well in HUa Hin doesn't work either. Informed there too. I think they all have a Dutch doctor in name . Perhaps commercial considerations to suggest that they have something with the Netherlands.

This statement must be completed and signed by a BIG registered doctor. As far as I know there is only 1 BIG registered doctor in Thailand and that is Maarten Vasbinder (Doctor Maarten) and he is not allowed to work here, so I cannot fill it in. When I also had this problem last year, Hua Hin couldn't help me either. CBR told me that I had to get a Thai driver's license. (I already had that) Even the ombudsman couldn't help me. I was unable to travel to the Netherlands due to Covid to have the inspection carried out there. Consequence: I have lost my Dutch driving license because of the NL bureaucracy.
is completely correct, as a 75-year-old I was forced to return to the Netherlands because, as a disabled person, I depend on my driving license and know from experience that you are not allowed on the road with the Thai driving license here in NK and that it cannot be converted again later to the Dutch equivalent. Is now in the misery of the travel insurance that will cost about 7 ht per month for a hibernator (4000 months).
If a price increase would be 28.000 bht for me, add the costs of an SHA hotel and the other extra costs to that, as an AOW pensioner with a small pension it would not make you happy
Will, like many who are in the same situation, be a reason to wait or even skip a year. This much to the chagrin of my Thai wife.
I also hear from a friend with a travel agency that this is also an issue for many normal tourists and often stay within Europe or Turkey.
In my opinion, Thailand costs a lot more
