M-pass accompanying credit card

Dear readers,

We purchased an M-pass this week (Toll-collect). This includes a kind of credit card (VISA) that apparently can be used as an e-money card. I'm a little concerned about security with this last one.

If that card is lost (or stolen) can everyone withdraw the amount available on it without delay? A normal credit card is secured with a pin code. Is this also the case here because it is not very clear to me?

Thank you very much for your explanation.

Regards,

Fons

If you don't trust the card just leave it at home in a safe place.

The card is not necessary for the M-Pass, which can be provided with a balance using the M-Pass app in combination with the app of your Thai bank.

You can top up your M-pass at 7-eleven.
