Dear readers,

I am looking for a decent second-hand big motorbike or big scooter, preferably 500 to 650 cc. Preferably from the Honda, Kawasaki or Yamaha brand.

Does one of the Thailandblog readers have one for sale? I live in the area of Pak Thong Chai (Korat).

    Why buy second hand?
In the Netherlands I had a Suzuki Burgman 650.
Here in Thailand last week I bought the Yamaha Xmax 300 new for 170K baht.
    Great scooter…. and reasonable price.
If you know how the Thai do maintenance, you never buy something that has already been used ..

Have a Yamaha Dragstar 1100 cc. Live in Chonburi. If interested, let us know how to get in touch.

Are you aware of the fact that you recently need a special driver's license from 400 cc and that the super highways, toll roads, etc. still do not allow bikes and big bikes in my opinion? Isn't NL or B here.
I have a Fortza 267 cc (there is now also a 350 cc) and the Yamaha 300 cc scooter are quite adequate in a country where you can't drive fast anyway and are very affordable... very useful in daily use because you have a lot of storage space underneath. the buddy. Even with a 110 cc it is not difficult to kill yourself here. And the girls will appreciate you more if you invest in them instead of road hardware.

That 'special driver's license' is still up in the air. The scheme has not yet taken effect because the exact conditions, etc., have not yet been determined.
I think the toll roads are the only roads where you are not allowed to use your motorcycle.

There is now also the slimmed down version of the Honda Forza. The old model was rather clunky.
The new Forza is a very nice 350cc machine and has just about the same price tag as the Yamaha Xmax.
