Dear readers,

I have been in contact with a Thai woman for a few months now. She can write reasonable English so chatting is pretty good only when we do video then we talk and that could be better.

Does anyone know a good course in Bangkok to improve your English speaking skills?

And I would like to pay for this course for her and does anyone know how best to send or transfer money to her.

Regards,

Eric

Of course you can also be active in the whole.
With everything, the more you do it, the better it gets.
You have patience and teach her to clearly articulate and explain. Short sentences first.
That's how I did it with my wife, then 48 years old. “Could” English, but if you never use it, it becomes diluted.
I have spent many hours and still like this with her. Explain words she doesn't understand
look up translation in translate to Thai, spell, speak slowly, etc.
Then you also have something to do with her. Above all, stay calm and help.

      Dear Peter,

      Thanks for your comment.
I am also very active with her, but she has also indicated that she would like to do this and who am I to say no.

I have had good experiences with Wise, formerly Transferwise. I don't find them expensive and lightning fast. My last transfer took 6 seconds, although I have also read that it sometimes takes a long time for large amounts. I always do it when the Thai banks are open. Past experiences are no guarantee for the future.

I am almost bilingual Dutch-English and I enjoy teaching. I am not a professional teacher but have given many courses. Be willing to help and don't have to have anything for it. Have taken several language courses.

    Dear,
I may or may not give private lessons in speaking skills together with my girlfriend. We do that a lot at Thai, mostly in groups and some on a private basis. This way they can also use private issues. Our location is Onnut Bangkok. I have checked this post to help you further.
    Greetings from Bangkok,
    Martin and Gloria

    Dear Martin,

So if I understand correctly you also speak Thai because that seems important to me.
Are there any costs involved and on what dates are these lessons given?

    Eric
