Dear readers,

I now have quite a stock of Dutch books here in Thailand, which I have read several times. Maybe I can make someone or more happy with that. It concerns (historical) thrillers, novels, etc. Writers such as Ryan, Graham, Colin Forbes, Brad Thor and various others.

You can pick up the books from me, I live near Panom Sarakham (Chachoengsao). I can also drop them off on Friday the 17th at an address in Pattaya where I will be for a few days. Interested? Email me [email protected] or call me +66 655507430.

Regards,

I heard that “Say Cheese” in Hua Hin has a small library of Dutch books. Maybe you can send them to the owner Jeroen. A friend of mine left a lot of books there. And there are many Dutch people who you can do a favor with that. http://www.saycheesehuahin.com/
All contact details are on the web page.

A few months ago I offered 50 Dutch books, but not a single response. too bad, I hope you have more success. I think most have E pad and don't want the "one real" books anymore.

A real book sometimes has its advantages, for example making a note in the margin. But almost all of my books are in English, and most of them aren't even available as e-books. In Dutch there is little available of the books I read (mostly study and backgrounds). You can still find quite a bit of it second-hand, also in Thailand (think of Dasabooks). If no one here on the blog is waiting for Dutch books (novels I assume?), perhaps people can still lose the books at a shop with 2nd hand books. Then they will automatically end up on people's shelves one by one.

All hotels have bookcases for guests to use. in all languages. leave your books there and exchange them for others.so that you can enjoy yourself again.often also magazines in all languages.I myself just walk into a hotel, ask where the books are and exchange mine so that they are not too dirty unread copies.
if you have an e-reader and you are a member of the library, you can simply borrow books from the online library using your card.
hope this is of some use to you, mvg, flavor
