Dear readers,

I am setting up a webshop with gift items from all over the world with a fair-trade idea.

For this I am looking for suppliers of fair-trade gift items in (among others) Thailand, initially on a small scale, but possibly expanding to more.

Are there people who can put me in touch with suppliers/projects in Asia, or who have tips on how best to ship goods from Asia to the Netherlands?

    Dear Maurice,

There is now an Otop fair going on in the IMPACT Halls (Muang Thong Thani Bangkok) until this Sunday, May 31, with all kinds of typical Thai items. There may be a few thousand here, eight halls full. Private producers of all kinds of personally made items. Products you have never seen in your life, including VOC ships. Really ten thousands of articles.

I would say go and have a look, it is open from 10.00 am to 21.00 pm, take a full day for it, there is so much to see.

    Greetings Nico
