Can you buy a baby box in Thailand?

Dear readers,

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a baby box in Thailand? In the Netherlands you see them everywhere, but it seems to be something really Dutch.

So I don't mean a crib or bed, but really a playpen, so a square wooden piece of furniture that you can put in the living room and let your baby sleep / play in until 1 or 2 years old. You can often adjust them in height.

Greetings,

Astrid

Look at Lazada, there they are. In English: play pen: https://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?q=Play+pen&_keyori=ss&from=input&spm=a2o4m.home.search.go.1125719crJSE9D

    There are various types…

I have not yet come across a box that is adjustable in height. A kind of plastic box in which you can put a soft surface. Have a look at lazada.
There is more and more choice of furniture, for example, so take a look in the large furniture stores.
Otherwise, have a local carpenter make one.

Never seen in Thailand, leaving the baby either in bed or on the floor. Also seen in some kind of baby carrier for some time.

On Marktplaats in NL 2nd hand around 100 € shipping costs, approximately the same amount. So if you have family or acquaintances in the Netherlands, you can have a box at home in just 3 weeks.

Have a look at lazada and search for “playpen”

If you are looking for a store that specializes in children, it is no problem at all to buy a playpen.
With us in the Family in Chiang Rai, every Child has temporarily moved into such a Box so that it is not at all typically Dutch.
Just ask for a( speak) ,,Laan kaai kong deck lek göht” where they sell all the things a small child needs after birth.

Bought one 2 years ago in Roi-Et.
On the side of the road people stood with bamboo furniture including a box.
Bought and had it delivered at home for a total of 1500 bath
