Dear readers,

We are looking for a secondary school for my child near Rangsit, Chatuchak to North Bangkok. My child does not speak Thai, so we are looking for a school with Dutch and foreigners, where 90% of lessons are given in English.

Many schools carry the name International school, but on site I see a lot of Thai at these schools. It is not clear to me whether lessons are taught here in English.

Regards,

Arnold

    I lived in Rangsit and my children went to ISB, International School Bangkok, an international school with 100% teaching in English, but the American school system (founded by the US Army in the Vietnam War). Many American, Japanese, Korean children and hardly any Dutch children. Won't have become much in recent years: ISB is expensive and many expats have been called back to their homeland.
    In addition, Harrows International School is nearby, an international school with the English education system; and a relatively new international school in Rangsit Klong 4 (along the Nakon Nayok Raod) called Siam International School.
    Schools take care of picking up and bringing children home, for a fee, of course.

    ISB International School Bangkok. 100% American curriculum. Located in a beautiful international compound Nichada Thani near Nonthaburi, northern Bangkok. Wonderful amenities. Our daughters have been there for years. Doing!

    Our three children studied at the ISB for 3, 4 and 7 years and obtained their diploma there. Very good curriculum, and many after-school activities (sports, theater, dance, music, etc). Expensive but those are all truly international schools, and we have never regretted it; on the contrary.

    definitely recommended;

    is the Harrow school, extremely expensive, but you get something in return, only foreigners and rich Thais attend. Is mainly taught in Hedgehog, but also in Thai of course. Is located near the Don Muang Airport. in the district across the street from the terminals. They are not bothered by noise from this airport.

    internet; harrowschool.ac.th
