How is the current situation for tourists in Cha-am?
Dear readers,
We have been coming to Cha-am for years. Does anyone have information regarding the opening of restaurants, the beach such as sunbed rental, etc., as it is now? We plan to go there again next winter.

I think we talked about this a few months ago.
Cha-am has been less affected by the Covid than places like Pattaya, Koh Samui, Krabi, Chiangmai, that's because those places have to rely on foreign tourists, tourism in Cha-am lives on average over the whole year 80% of Thai tourists, only from November to March there are relatively many foreign winter visitors, the rest of the year mainly Thai tourists.
70-80 percent of the regular large group of winter visitors from Guide Bussaya have informed us that they have arranged a ticket and their accommodation in Cha-am, so Bill it's getting busy again in Cha-am, so just come, everything is open , and who knows maybe we can sell you a tour

Weekdays nice and quiet
