How and when a booster shot in Thailand?
Dear readers,
In October 2021, many foreigners in Thailand have been vaccinated twice with Pfizer. It was said at the location that a booster shot would follow after six months.
Does anyone know if there will be another action from the Thai government for this? If not, where should we turn for a booster shot?
Regards,
Christian

I can just go to Robinson Department Store in Kanchanaburi tomorrow for my booster.
Will be a 3 times Pfizer.
An appointment is not necessary.
I think there are vaccination places like that in every city where you can just walk in.
Stopped by today and ready in 30 minutes. Waiting included.
So there was hardly any people.
Booster is also already registered in my MohPrompt App, I see.
My partner called the San Sai Hospital in Chiang Mai several times to find out when Pfizer was given.
Two weeks ago we were able to get our Pfizer booster without an appointment.
An hour in line and Kees was done.
Our International Certificate was updated after 2 days, so everything went smoothly.
If I were you I would call the hospital where you were previously vaccinated and ask about how or what because you will not hear from the government, you will have to take steps yourself.
Success.
Monday March 28th I got my Pfizer booster in The Mall Nakhon Ratchasima. No need to make an appointment either, from registering to the injection: 20 minutes. Then you have to wait another 30 minutes. Everything went very quickly and well organized. Tomorrow last day in The Mall but still possible in Central Plaza (I understand).
Picked up second booster (Pfizer) at Bluport in Hua Hin this morning. Very busy, but it went smoothly in the end. Almost got into a brawl with a (presumed) Brit, who felt he wasn't being served fast enough.
In hindsight stupid or rather because of the moment I didn't know.
Reported to RAM hospital Changmai for the booster shot Moderna.
Had to pay 1650 bath in advance too.
Later I heard that one can get the Phizer for free at Shopping mall Robinson.
3rd floor, you can connect like this, you are missing proof of the 2nd shot.
Had first and second shots with Phizer.
Went there to look, indeed and for free
Hans van Mourik
Moderna is also available for free there, you can choose Pfizer, Moderna and Astra
Free Pfizer booster even available in small hospital of Sangkampeng.
I had Chiangmai RAM very high, but it turns out to be money wolves there in Corona time.
Cristian,
As described above, booster vaccinations are given everywhere. Inquire locally where these often are walk-in locations. It would have been easier if you had indicated where you are staying.
Dear Hans,
On what days or times is it possible to get a booster at Bluport. I've already searched the internet, but didn't find anything about it. Thank you in advance.
Follow Hua Hin hospital on fb and use the fb translation function. It is Hua Hin state hospital that puts the vaccinations in Blueport on the second floor parking site…

Both expatvac@consular (as organizer) and Bkk hospital (as executor) sent an e-mail about this about 2 weeks ago. Just got no response. Then I went to get a booster (moderna 100 ml) in the Ratchapruk hospital in Khon Kaen. This was already paid in September (3.300 Baht) for my wife, but because she only received a message at the beginning of March that she could come (already had 2x Pfizer for free via another channel), I was the first to benefit from it. Changed the name and I could enjoy 1 free booster. It was strange that you normally get a half dose (50 ml) at Moderna, but they didn't know about that and I got the full dose. Wouldn't hurt. So now we have another dose, will be booster for my wife, credit at Ratchapruek.
Received a booster shot two weeks ago WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. I PFYZER my wife MODERNA, in Pattaya. VERY WELL ORGANIZED. Thanks Thailand

And may we also know where you can go for this in Pattaya (Central? Hospital?). And was your booster injection free?
You can just walk in at different locations and get your booster shot after 6 months, went to Airport Plaza in Chiang Mai about a week ago, at 8.00 am and back at 9.00 am. Just bring your passport and proof of your previous vaccines.
Pattaya second RD shopping mall
Where airplane in the facade.
Free from 11.00 a.m. to 15.30:XNUMX p.m. without an appointment.
No, you have to register, only 500 people... registered immediately this morning but it was already 'fully booked'. This was before April 1.
I was also vaccinated twice in October, and I already had my booster shot last month.
I showed my vaccination certificate to the local clinic where I live and they arranged an appointment.
