Dear readers,

My question: Is the border crossing at Prachuap Khiri Khan also open for farang these days?

I often stay in Cha-am for extended periods of time and PKK is only 120 km south. Hear conflicting sounds every time, now know that it is open to the Burmese and Thai.

Yours faithfully,

Hans

We went from Cha-am by moped to the border of Burma
But as a farang you can't cross the border there
Well the thai and I have seen men with sarongs who do cross the border
I have also seen that the Thai bring beautiful teak tables and furniture to Thailand by car via the mountain road

We went there in March 2015, to the nice Burmese market that is held there in the border town.
But you don't cross the border as a tourist! The Burmese, who go to the market there, succeed.
