Home » Reader question » Reader question: What are your experiences with NTV Channel in Thailand?
Dear readers,
I have the following reader question, namely I wanted to watch the football match Netherlands against France via NTV Channel semi live last Thursday evening. I was looking forward to it because of the preparation for the football World Cup in June next. But unfortunately watching was not possible because there was not enough streaming.
That has happened more in recent weeks, that I wanted to watch a program live (Olympic Games in Sochi) or semi live a movie. But after about 15 minutes it's over. I have an internet connection of 3BB and live near Korat. I'm afraid it won't work in June during the World Cup either. My 3BB connection is 10 Mb/s. According to NTV Channel, this is sufficient, but it still fails.
I have asked NTV Channel what is wrong but no real answer till date. What are the experiences of other readers?
Yours faithfully,
Nok
Hi Nok, you can watch all matches worldwide via http://splashurl.com/kqnpu3t these are all live streams best regards robert
Hi nok , thank you . Just tried it out. . Hope to receive this from Brazil etc. in June as well.
Gr Peter
Sorry I mean of course thanks Robert.
Gr peter.
Hi Nok
Unfortunately, we also experience many problems here in Hua hin/Cha-am. It is not possible to broadcast for 1 week in a row without any problems. Nowadays, if you ask for a response, you no longer get an answer... good luck
Hi Nok,
i live in Korat and have fiber with 30 Mb download from 3BB. Within Thailand ok but (narrow) international gateway causes the problem. Even with me buffering was done, tried for two days and then stopped. So it's not just NVT
Gr.,

Over a year ago already joined those guys from Chanel, many annoyances later stopped.
But two months ago they came back into the picture: handy guys. It couldn't go wrong anymore than paying almost 10000 bath for a nice story, connecting a box to my router and a subscription for a year.
The story that before hackers had hijacked the site causing a bad connection, But that was in the past now everything was perfect.
Nice, isn't it the Winter Olympics the World Cup football it's going to be a big party..
And the result .. An excellent system to watch programs that you especially do not like. Is the image still or does it go black? No problem, you just switch to another program that you don't like. If nothing works, you have not missed anything. It's nice that Chanel.
It's a big drama, what and why it doesn't work won't matter to me it just doesn't work. And the response when you send an email. We are doing everything we can but it won't get any better. Or oh is that the case with us everything was fine. Another reaction oh but otherwise you wouldn't have seen anything at all.
But now they don't respond to anything.
It's a shame, it could be nice, they would be better off delivering four good programs instead of 8 worthless ones.
But I fear that it will soon go completely out of the air and they will have flown with my 10.000 bath.
I would think about getting in.
Hi nok
We are also members of NTV and even purchased a cabinet from them
That would work better, but not really malfunctions every time and barely works, a waste of money
I wouldn't buy it again either
And when you email, you never hear anything
No email back just exchange money service Forget it, more Thai service
I don't understand how you can treat customers like that
If I know a better way to watch TV, I'll leave them
Greetings Rob
Unfortunately, we also have problems in Hua Hin. Very frustrating because you can no longer contact anyone. Luckily we only paid for 6 months, but still! The 2 people who helped me with the installation are back to the Netherlands or away from Hua Hin. I don't know if there are more people working at NTV.
Dear people, thank you so far for your responses. I'm going to give up NTV Channel. I still have a subscription until May. Then the year is over. If it gets better, I'll let you know. @robert: many thanks for the football viewing tip. Many people are going to enjoy it in June.
