Dear readers,

We plan to purchase the Honda Forza, and use it to go out during our weekends and holidays. Does anyone have any experience with this scooter/motorcycle?

It is said that many foreigners drive around on it, this scooter is not so popular among the Thai. W

We are very curious about your experiences

Greetings,

Rene Sriracha

Hi, I'm also going to buy a Forza, I did a test drive last year and it was amazing. The locals ride other scooters, in my opinion that has everything to do with the purchase price. For me it's a great machine. I will have it at home next thursday…
Read this website and you are almost convinced.

Don't forget to negotiate, normally it costs 159000 baht, I already have an address for 150000, there will be insurance, the license plate and green book.

Rather buy a Sym 300, cheaper and lighter for a comparable engine. The sym 400 is hardly heavier than the Forza. Why are there already so many second-hand Forza's offered?.

Great bike with enough power and now certainly the time to purchase second hand, often with few km and saves a lot in price

    Hi Rene,
For the test of the Honda forza, take a look at the site of Stadsmotor.nl
The above suggestion of the Sym 300 or the Honda SH 300i (same engine, faster and cheaper) is certainly worth considering.
I myself rented one to try it for a week, but I didn't get very excited.
It does look flashy and contemporary and has ABS, but my trusty Honda PCX 150 with Givi screen and top box is fine in town and for touring and costs half the price.
I rarely drive faster than 90 km/h given the condition of the road surface, the U turns, oncoming traffic, stray dogs and Thai crossings.
    Good luck with your choice.
    Steven

      hi steven,
      Thanks for your information
I agree with you about the speed, we certainly don't have to tear around here.
But what concerns me most is that my wife also sits comfortably on the back, even on longer journeys.
Hence my choice for a heavier motorcycle, and the large luggage compartment under the seat.
I will certainly consider the Sym 300 and pay it a visit.
      greetings Rene

I know him too , only by reputation .
Since I'm crazy about everything that drives around here on two wheels, I know a lot.
This motor is a big scooter, looks a lot like the PCX's little brother.
Is not only bigger and also has more CCs .
For the rest, the HONDA is reliable and reasonably good.
But otherwise it is a boring scooter in terms of appearance and performance.
You don't see them often, here in Pasang where I live there is even one for sale.
I therefore think that they have nothing of value second hand , so that may be a reason to buy a second - hand Forza .
The other brand Sym or similar are often Chinese or Taiwanese clones , not buying is a big mess .
Just like K – Way and Lefan and Platinum and JAD . But if you want something special and good in the scooter field, go to a Honda Big Bike dealer.
And ask them to show you the Honda Integra , which costs around 400000 bath .
But then you also have something in the technical field, complete it with a touring package.
    And the road is yours.

    Jan Beute.

When I read stadmoter.nl, the Sym 300 comes out better than the Forza, which is worth considering, but it is only 2000 bath cheaper in Pattaya, does anyone know an address where it is the cheapest?

I myself have been driving a SYM 30.000 for more than two years and almost 400 km. To some, Taiwanese junk.
I think it's a great engine. Runs like a train. With its wide saddle and adjustable windshield, you can ride very comfortably even at 160 km/h.
The only downside is perhaps the weight. 230kg.
But with its low center of gravity, it is also quite manageable in the city.
But as someone once said: every disadvantage has its advantage. This makes it virtually insensitive to crosswinds. Even at higher speed.
Consumption around 4l per 100 km. I suspect the forza will be a bit more economical…

    Good luck with your choice…

Hi, the doubts strike even more now hahaha, but what should the SYM 400 cost and what is the difference with the 300?

    • janbeute says up

Driving 160 km per hour with a SYM , and then also comfortable .
Don't make me laugh, it's a big mess.
