Reader question: Where can I buy e cigarettes in Pattaya?
Dear readers,
Recently I started using e cigarettes. I have it shipped from the Netherlands and that is quite pricey all in all.
I have inquired at various shops here in Pattaya whether they are sold here, but no one can help me.
You maybe?
Thank you
Arno
Editorial: The e-cigarette or electronic cigarette is a substitute for satisfying the needs of a smoker with fewer adverse consequences for the user or bystanders
Just search the internet to find enough you can even have it sent and there are things in Bangkok.
Hi Arno,
I think I saw them last year! a stall on the beach road...approximately at soi 13, or just google... there are many Chinese sites where you can order them cheaply, which will then be delivered to the address you specified.
success
Visit http://www.ovalethailand.com for quality.
Everywhere on the beach in Pattaya they are offered by the beach vendors, for half the price they are sold for in the Netherlands, but haggle but around 800-1000 bath per set of two. The liquid can also be obtained from them for half less than in the Netherlands.
Sit on the Dong tan beach and almost every half hour someone passes by selling them.
They are for sale everywhere on the beach road at various stalls. Walk a bit and you will find them automatically. All shapes and sizes, with and without liquids.
the e.cigarret is officially banned in Thayland.
Dear,
Every Tuesday and Friday on the market in soi Buakhow. And… indeed on the beach, but there you usually buy Chinese counterfeits.
Many thanks to all who have responded.
Hi Arno..
Do you use the refillable or the cigarette with replacement mouthpiece…..
When purchasing, be careful because I bought a refillable one. It comes in a leather case per two with a bottle and electric charger and you can choose the flavor of your bottle (strawberry, menthol, marlboro, vanilla, coffee, etc.).
I bought mine in tukcom on the third floor for the price of 1200 bhat…after haggling for 1500.
But a few days later I was walking with my wife on second road not far from the
Mc Donald and the cinemas there is a small market there in the evening a little beyond the same side as the market I think 50 meters further they were for sale at 800 bhat identically the same because they are almost everywhere the same .. the seller seemed to me an Indian.
And a few days later I also saw them for sale on the left side when you walk to walking street along beach road there is the street where quite a lot of motorbikes are for rent, a young Thai and he gives quite a lot of stuff such as brass knuckles, throwing stars, knives, etc.. but he also sells the same e-cigarette but at the price after haggling, of course, of 700 bhat and the filling bottles are also the cheapest with him.. I bought a case of e-cigarette there myself because of its decent asking price .
For the refills they charge 200 to 250 bhat or sometimes if you take five they give one free.
I also tried the cigarette where you have to replace the filter because that's where the liquid is in .. this system is much more expensive because you have to replace it fairly quickly but it's nice because it looks like a cigarette and it also lights up …if you were to hold a lit cigarette these costs around 250 bhat ..and replacement filters are also available in all flavors .
Good luck Arno..
i was sitting at a bar in soi post office told the bar lady shirey, she called and 15 minutes later a thai girl came with a bag full of various. e cigarettes. I bought a black long box with 2 e-pipes, charger and a small bottle of liquid, flavor after choice. after haggling I paid 700 bath, half of what you paid in the Netherlands, that was January 2012, back in the Netherlands I could just vape at the bar, so not in the dirty smoke room, I liked it because you still saw them here not much, and people were still curious how I got it, now you can also buy them here everywhere, but in Pattaya then, whatever you want, everything is for sale!
Maybe report it.
I bought an e-cigarette in Belgium last year. So you can buy bottles of liquid with different flavors.
However, those bottles do not contain nicotine, because that is still prohibited in Belgium, according to the Belgian saleswoman.
In other countries, perhaps Thailand, you may be able to buy those nicotine bottles, so that it really is a replacement for the normal cigarette, so with nicotine but without tar.
I'll just let you know about this ban in Belgium, in case there might be problems at the border.
I don't know what the regulations on this are in the Netherlands. Maybe someone else can answer this.
In the meantime I have stopped smoking since January (and try to keep it that way).
For me, the e-cigarette has not contributed to this because I stopped using it after a few uses.
Apart from developing some smoke and getting a taste in your mouth, it had no influence on my normal cigarette consumption. I still needed the cigarette as much as before to keep my nicotine levels up, because there was no nicotine in the liquid.
Finally I stopped on character without aids and the e-cigarette is somewhere in the cupboard.
