Dear readers,
My 2 sisters-in-law and 1 nephew recently obtained a Schengen visa for 3 months. We are now busy booking the flights, with KLM from Chiang Mai to Amsterdam costs just 1000 euros and with Thai Airways from Chiang Mai to Brussels costs Euro 650. That hurts quite a bit.
Before corona, we usually flew to Thailand with Thai Airways, which suited us very well, so I say, fly to Brussels. But my one sister-in-law says that Belgium only accepts EMA vaccinations and the Netherlands accepts EMA and WHO if you travel to Belgium from outside the EU.
My sisters-in-law both have Sinovac and it has been approved by the WHO, so coming to the Netherlands is no problem, only going to Belgium can be. I have searched the internet and I do indeed only see EMA vaccines in Belgium, but I am not entirely sure because sometimes we are 1 Europe and sometimes not, so why is it possible in NL and not in Belgium, it is still a Schengen visa?
But is there anyone who can say with certainty that entering via Brussels with destination the Netherlands is not possible with the Sinovac vaccine. I'd love to hear it and thanks in advance for the effort.
Regards,
Emil

Thank you Mark, the link is very clear, not possible via Belgium.
