Dear readers,

My name is Keijl (Kaew), I am of Thai origin and I am doing a graduation research at ElephantsWorld. As part of this research, I would kindly ask you to complete the questionnaire below. The aim of this research is to find out whether the Dutch and Belgians are familiar with the elephant shelter ElephantsWorld in Thailand, and/or whether they would be willing to visit this shelter.

Filling in the questionnaire only takes 5 to 7 minutes. The data from this questionnaire will be processed anonymously. This survey will close on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

I would like to reach as many people as possible with this survey. That's why I would also like to ask you to forward / share this message to as many people as possible. With this you could help me enormously for my graduation research.

Click on the link below and you can immediately start completing the questionnaire: www.thesistools.com/web/?id=505099

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and your time.

Best regards,

Keijl

In 2006 I met Lek, unfortunately not personally but from the book: Thai elephants from the street; a journey to freedom. From Bangkok to Northern Thailand. Book by Antoinette van de Water.
Last year I visited the WFFT with my son and daughter-in-law in Hua hin and we were very enthusiastic. Many volunteers of all nationalities.
And then there is also Elephant Haven Europe, which is being “developed” precisely because of the efforts of Tony et al., an elephant caretaker from the Antwerp Zoo.
Go for it Keijl and good luck!

      Dear Angele,

ElephantsWorld is not Lek's park. ElephantsWorld is a shelter for sick old and disabled elephants located in Kanchanburi. I myself have been there several emails and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone; you not only have the day of your life, but by paying the entrance fee you also ensure that the elephants can enjoy their well-deserved rest there.

Elephants World is ideally located for a visit to both the "Bridge on the River Kwai" and the Erawan Waterfalls.
For tourists and expats a wonderful combination of 3 great sights.
    All three recommended!
