Dear readers,

I am subscribed to NTV Channel. Completely satisfied so far. The expiration of a paid period was always announced well in advance. Not now!

A few days ago I couldn't log in. The Viooz box also reported that my account had expired, while that was only on November 1. After many tries, it finally worked.

Extending was the creed….

Try to order from the website. I can't get it done, I get the strangest messages on my screen, including an error message from the cloud in Singapore. Tell my story at NTV via info@ntvchannel. No answer. Then do my story via another email address. Get the answer, these error messages are not known to us. No, but with me.

In short, I ask for the NTV bank details, which unfortunately disappeared from my computer. This time via the other email address. Get a bank number with a Thai name the next day, in Chiang Mai, at Krungsri Bank. While I seem to remember that before the bank was in Hua Hin, with a business name.

Unfortunately, Kungsri is not in my bank's list of banks I can pay to. So that won't work. Then pay by credit card. That is no longer possible, it is no longer in the payment options.

Then just call. Unfortunately no phone number can be found on the website. So it won't work either. Will eventually mean that I can no longer watch NL TV. Talk about bad service

Are there more people having problems with NTV?

Very annoying for you and not nice, but also very rude of NTV channel not to even respond.
Is NTV Channel the same as NTV Asia. If so, I'll have to think it over
Whether I become an Uberhoup member and then take out a one-year subscription. I hope it can be resolved quickly for you and people still respond.
So you see, you have to be very careful with everything. You also have via [email protected] but also
not allowed to receive a message back. Strange info@ntvchannel is also listed at ntvAsia. Gives a strange feeling because they approached me this week. In connection with the purchase of a box for the TV. But I will wait a while with a subscription. Again hope that it can be fixed soon.
    Success.

Dear Hans, I don't know if I help solve your problem, but the Kung Sri Bank is the Bank of Ayutthaya and you can transfer money to it online.

    • HansNL says up

In the meantime I also found out that Kungsri is the bank of Ayuddya.
But, most importantly, if everything was armpit fresh, the last correct name would of course be listed for a payment, I think.
And of course, figuratively speaking, in my wanderings regarding NTV channel you come across other complainers regarding payment….
Just to be clear, NTV-Channel is NOT tv-asia or anything.
No, NTV channel is that of the VIOOZ boxes. And cost 699 baht per month.

All in all I fear that NTV channel is defunct.
And that which people still want to make a quick profit from the decline.
And especially that the lady to whom the money should be transferred has now filed a complaint with the police.

My advice: do not pay more to NTV channel until it is clear what is going on.

    Dear Hans,

About 6 months ago, the address was published on this blog http://www.NL-TV.asia given as an alternative and I can't say more than great until 14 days ago you can freely watch 10 x Dutch 9 x German 4 x Belgian and 2 others.
Payment has to be made from November and I have done this via the internet in Thailand without any problems.

Tried to log in now, succeeded as usual, but got a message that this was still free until November 4 until 24 hours, then options stated how and what to do if you want to subscribe.
Now that I was shocked by the price, it's not sick.
In any case, I will refrain from it, and will get movies from the internet in a different way
    What is your opinion ?

    • willem says up

All Dutch programs I watched lately happened via nl.tv because of the quality and ease of use and therefore no longer missed via bvn or broadcast.
Henk I also think a price of € 26 or 900 bath is too much and will follow my programs via BVN and missed broadcast.

    Hi Hans,

If I'm not mistaken, there is a difference between ntv channel and nltv, nltv was free for 5 months and as of November 4th you have to pay for it, the nltv experience was positive for me, there was a mistake with payment and they resolved this well, today money back and paid again who what and how of ntv channel I don't know but nltv for me good service

We first have to find out whether NTV-Channel is the same as NL-TV.Asia? Otherwise we may be in for a Babylonian confusion of tongues. So they are two completely different things.

Anyway, I was able to test NL-TV for free for a few months. Yesterday I read on their home screen that it will be pay TV from November 4, of course very understandable. You have to organize that on the basis of the information on their website. Is doable.

  13. Roof says up

NLTV worked pretty well to excellent depending on your internet
link. You now have to pay 900 baht per month and that
I think it's way too much for the few times a month that I look.
There are alternatives that cost less.

    • Evert van der Weide says up

      What alternatives do you know?

      • Kees says up

Google on “missed broadcast downloader” or click on link: http://www.helpdeskweb.nl/gemistdownloader/. That downloader can be downloaded for free from the website and then you can download all programs from npo and rtl (also youtube) for free. In the morning I download from the previous evening and watch the programs at any time. Easy to stop, skip parts, watch something you missed because the phone rang. I find it perfect and very user-friendly.

  14. HansNL says up

To hopefully stop the almost Babylonian confusion of tongues:

    I'm talking about NTV CHANNEL!!!!
The, according to them, the first and only channel where you could watch EIGHT Dutch channels, live or with an 18 hour delay.
The one from the VIOOZ boxes!
I have no interest in German and Belgian channels as offered by others for 900 baht per month.

So I'm not talking about nltv, tv asia or whatever!

I fear that NTV channel has gone the way of many companies that have focused on farang.
    Into oblivion.

In addition, opening the way for figures who can sometimes turn those stupid farangs off.

Given all this, I believe that I will stick to the limited offer of BVN.

I have been a subscriber to ntvchannel (moderate quality) and I have now registered with NL asia Tv
I think these are 2 different providers.
Nl asia tv offers good quality and the possibility to record and you can look back up to 14 days.
A reason for me to try this.

900 bath is a bit on the high side, but if you don't go out for 1 day, you have earned that again and you have a good product in return for 30 days.

  16. silla world says up

And what alternatives via the internet may these be?
I am very satisfied with the quality of nl-tv.asia … but the cost is about 3 times more expensive than originally announced.

  17. Flanders says up

I have been watching for a few months now and am satisfied with NL-TV Asia, but the amount of 900 Bht is too much when you compare that to the 1700 Bht of True hundreds of channels, if they were to charge an amount of 500 Bht that would not be a problem for many I think they are, so when the price goes down they can email me again.

    • willem says up

Then you better take GMM with FOX have Fox Thailand 400 baht a month and every weekend Eredivisie live from the Dutch league live. and Germany and France directly
Last weekend PSV-ADO and AJAX-FC Dordrecht last week Feijenoord-Cambuur and also no live matches then repeat
is normally 400 baht per month and if you look good there is always a promotion now for 2 months for 600 baht and HD broadcast and then the other Fox channels HD
Compared to that, NLTV Asie is not in HD and then 900 baht is of course far too expensive.

I tested nl-tv, good quality, full program overview, no stream problems, slightly better than Bhaalu, so I wanted to switch from Bhaalu to nl-tv, but 26 euros compared to 5 euros from Bhaalu.. that's too much difference.. imagine now double .. 10 euros that is 5000 B/year = more than enough

We also regularly watched ntvchannel. Especially during the Winter Olympics and the World Cup last summer.. Have paid for 1 year (until March 11, 2015). When I try to log in, it says: blocked plug in. An email to the company has yet to receive a response. I also find it strange that you can't find a name anywhere. The TV guide is still up to date,

  20. Matthew Hua Hin says up

As written before, I know the initiator of NTVchannel.com. For the image it might be good to know that he is not in Thailand for a large part of the year, and that everything here was arranged locally by a party that suddenly left with the northern sun, while ensuring that all member information, etc. had disappeared. Of course that does not deserve a beauty prize, but as far as I can judge, there is certainly no deliberate fraud.
I understand that everything should be running smoothly again, although contact with a number of people has still not been successful. In any case, I always get direct contact via email [email protected] and so far I can still watch without any problems.
I would advise anyone who has problems or no signal to use the above e-mail address.

    • HansNL says up

      Dear Mathieu

Perhaps the "agent" in Thailand has indeed disappeared with the Noorderzon, and in passing may have taken the membership file and funds with it, and in passing changed the payment address and bank.

And if you then hear here and there that payment to that lady in CM does not result in login details, but a complaint to the police, I can only conclude that NTV-Channel is simply broken.

If the man from the Netherlands thinks he can run a business in Thailand, keep an overview and, above all, check whether the staff is and remains completely fresh under the arms, then he is very wrong, a business cannot be managed from a distance.

I fear with great fear that too much has gone wrong to save the business.
I don't trust it at all anymore.
And sit in my stomach with a box probably locked to NTV only.

And NTV's email address at outlook.com, well, an email address is quickly created.

The man who thinks he can run the business from NL, my advice is to come back very quickly and try to save the business.

Unfortunately, Matthieu, I really don't trust it anymore.

And I advise anyone who had NTV-Channel to definitely not pay the lady in CM.

And the owner should try to retrieve the customer base and approach all customers what happened!

We recently received information about the discussion on this forum regarding NTVchannel and would like to provide some explanation as an interim.
On October 21, 2014, we extensively informed all NTVchannel customers about the status. NTVchannel.com is the Thai agency of distribution of Dutch TV from a worldwide network.
Unfortunately, in recent months we have received many complaints about the Thai representation, about not responding to questions, sending orders on time, telephone support, etc.
After addressing the representative, he left with a smile and we decided to continue NTVchannel.com and to reorganize the chaos left behind.
In the email of October 21, 2014, we asked all customers to respond if there was still an ongoing problem. We have received positive reactions to this and the problems have been solved.
If there are still customers with problems, please let us know via the e-mail address stated on the website.
We are currently in talks with a new partner in Thailand.
We regret the course of events and will do everything we can to give the customer a good feeling and to let them enjoy Dutch TV in Thailand at an acceptable rate.

  23. HansNL says up

    The interim is hopeful.
All customers have received an email?

Dear interim, don't you agree with me that this whole thing has made a nice, perhaps insurmountable, breach in customer confidence?

Don't you also think that, perhaps, this disaster should have been prevented by a good, regular check on the ins and outs of the Thailand branch?

Don't you also think that the information you are now providing should have been sent to the customers earlier?
Don't you also think that the change from a business bank number in Hua Hin to a private bank number of a Thai lady in Chiang Mai does not inspire much confidence?

Dear interim, I fear that this whole thing will not harm the competition, which may be more expensive but does provide more channels, and you undoubtedly think so along with me.

In any case, for the time being I will limit my desire to watch Dutch TV, however sporadically, to BVN.
My confidence in providers of NL-TV has suffered a serious blow.
    So I'm just waiting!
    Going

I have now tried to subscribe to NL-TV. So that's the new provider. So far without success. I created an account through their website. I indicated there that I wanted to watch for a month. I got an invoice for that. The information states that you can pay by ATM. I did that with an Online transfer from my account to their account. However, my bill kept the status 'unpaid'. Then I received a long email exchange with increasingly incomprehensible texts about codes and payment methods. I have once again shown that I have paid with a copy that was sent along with it.
Nevertheless, nothing happens for now and I can't watch TV. Maybe it will be okay, but it's strange. I'm glad I started with just a monthly subscription.

    • Richard says up

Unfortunately I also try to pay, but after a lot of email traffic I can't.
The e - mails I get from them are becoming more and more incomprehensible .

I don't get answers to my questions.

      I should e-mail a copy of my payment ??

Now decided not to do anything until they have the billing in order.
      I don't like paying to a private person. (I don't)

Too bad this has to be like this, I can't watch anymore. (closed)
just watched the broadcast again. (free)

      • Jack S says up

It would be best to open a paypal account with a bank connection in the Netherlands or where you receive your income (not in Thailand - that doesn't work very well I've heard). The advantage of Paypal is that you can block your money when your goods are not delivered. So if you pay for a month and you do not immediately receive an activation code and cannot watch TV, you withdraw your payment via Paypal.
I've done this on Ebay for years. When I didn't get my ordered stuff, I solved this like this.
Depositing money into a strange account or via a private person is never recommended, because you do not know whether the money will end up in the right place.

A while back there were comments about watching Dutch
team at the World Cup in Brazil.

In addition to the NTV channel and NLTV, a third option was also mentioned.
I then opted for NLTV because it was free at the time.
We all know now that NTV channel has problems. In the post at the time
was called a low lump sum for NLTV. Now it turns out it's 900 baht each
month, which in my opinion is much too high a price.

I seem to remember that the third provider came from Belgium. You got a whole
load channels from NL and Belgium. In addition, two free theme channels, for example
sports and movies. An amount had to be paid in one go.

I've searched all over this blog but can't seem to find the information.
I am very interested in this Belgian provider of Dutch and Belgian '
TV and theme channels. Who can share this information with all of us because it seems like a great one
    alternative to NTV and NLTV.

    Ladies and gentlemen,
I would like to jump in on NLTV at this time. A German acquaintance of mine, who works for Global TV in Thailand and supplies German-speaking customers, asked me if I was interested in “supplying” NLTV.
A program is installed, which is the same as that of Global TV and with which you can watch very good quality TV from 6mbps. It is best to do this via a PC and Mac, later also via Android, connected to a TV with HDMI or PC input. The image that does not look so great on a PC Monitor, is in a better quality on a TV. This is because normal PC monitors and laptops are not designed for this and also do not deliver the quality of “downloaded” films that you can have on a modern TV.
I have supported him before with the installation of Global TV in the area from Hua Hin to Saam Roi Yot. Most people renew their subscription over and over again.
We also supply beautiful slim PCs that look great in the living room.
So if anyone near Hua Hin is interested, I'd be more than happy to drop by and help out. I also install and set up the PC if desired. It comes with wireless remote control (mouse and keyboard).
    My email is [email protected].
This is not free TV. For those who like to hear the Dutch language and just want to watch Dutch TV, this is a good alternative. The subscription is for 1,3,6 and 12 months, where you get a 12% discount with 20 months.
Free TV is limited, not this one. You can also receive Dutch TV via satellite, I have heard it said, but then you usually pay much more per month for many channels that you do not want.
    Kind regards, Jack S

I forgot to write, which channels can be seen:
      Eurosport
      Eurosport2
      1,2,3,5
      RTL4
      5
      RTL7
      SBS6

      Belgium:
      BE2
      one
      come
      vtm

      Germany:
      3 sat
      ARD1

      NDR
      7
      SAT 1
      WDR
      ZDF

      International:
      Aljazeera
      BBC World News

Of course you can also order and install yourself via the NLTV web page. The costs are the same as the costs you have when I do it for you, with the difference that an extra piece of service is provided.

  27. ThailandJohn says up

I contacted NLTV ASIA to let me know what the box allows for direct reception on the TV. But the price is not yet known. I also asked how I can become a member and how I can pay. I received an answer via my Thai bank account. Which number etc. was not mentioned. I also let you know that 900 baht per month is on the high side. But they don't care about that. You can get a one-year subscription that would cost 700 baht per month and you have to pay in one go. That is also too much. So for the time being I will just stick to the Thai cable with BVN, German welle and BBC and Fox and so on. a few. That costs 300 baht per month. So 500 baht per month for a year's subscription. So a payment of 6000 baht would have been reasonable and probably
more people would become members. I also think people have been very vague for a long time about the costs of possible subscriptions. The same applies to the Box for the TV, because this is still unknown.
    With best regards

    • Jack S says up

Hi John, you can buy the box like this. These are for sale in Hua Hin at Klaus, also through me or you can order them at lazada: http://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?q=android+box
You can then download the app from NLTV and install it on that box. Please note that it is still in Beta phase.
The boxes are available from 2500 Baht. The better ones (recommended) cost around 4000 Baht. These have a quad-core processor, 8 GB of internal memory and you can connect numerous devices, including a hard disk. They come with a remote control and are connected to the TV via HDMI. Normally you use them via WiFi, but you can also connect a cable directly to the device. Some can also play 4K movies.
For the quality, 900 baht per month is not too expensive. If you have satellite reception via True, 3BB or TOT, you pay almost as much and you will not have Dutch TV.
You pay for what you get: if you pay 300 baht, you have to make do with fewer channels. For 600 baht more you have a full Dutch / German package. You can be satisfied with a Volkswagen. You can then move forward with that, but if you want to drive a Mercedes, you pay more.

    • Jack S says up

Just a comment on the box. I have commented before, but this comment has not (yet) been posted by the editors.
You don't have to wait for a box, because these are for sale in Thailand from 2300 Baht. You can find them in Pantip Plaza (second floor on the right there is one store that sells good ones) - and probably other IT centers or buy them from the online retailer Lazada. There you enter Android TV box and you will soon be on the page with the relevant boxes. If you live in Hua Hin and the surrounding area, I can personally deliver it to you.
At NLTV you can download an app and install it on that box. The box, which is really small (around 15 × 10 cm and 3-4 cm high), has numerous connections with which you can connect it to your TV. You can receive wireless or cable internet via your router. You can also connect a keyboard and mouse to it and even play games with it. All can be downloaded from google play.
You can get the NLTV app on the NLTV website. However, this is still in a Beta phase and may have malfunctions. Still free at the moment.

So again I would like to urge caution. I got a rack at first. no. at the krungsri bank by. I transferred money there. Then the asia.tv-nl helpdesk told them that their company has an account with the Siam Commercial Bank. It is still not clear who owed the bill that I first received. Maybe it's all right, but I can whistle for my money for the time being and I have all the time for that because watching TV is not an option.

  29. BramSiam says up

With some detours, NL-TV now works for me. The quality is very good and I think it is worth the price. You pay more in the Netherlands and it's nice to have Belgium four with, among others, the smartest person. No cabinets and set-up boxes are used. Just an HDMI cable from the PC to your flat screen and a beautiful image plus the option to see everything back up to 7 days. For now, I withdraw my reservations.

  30. HansNL says up

Verily, I have seldom seen a greater confusion of tongues of Babylonian proportions!
I started about my somewhat negative experiences with NTV-CHANNEL.
And asked if others might also have had experiences with the NTV-CHANNEL I mentioned.

The entire post with comments has become a lamentation about watching Dutch TV channels in Thailand.
TV Asia, NL-TV, expat TV, you name it, we have it!

Can only conclude that there is a lot to do about cassia watching.
And especially that it is very bad reading.

    Unfortunately.

I have not become much wiser from the responses, but I did immediately receive some information by email, presumably from an interested party in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, I still believe that NTV-CHANNEL delivered a great product for a very reasonable price, and I hope that the problem can be solved so that I can watch again in due course.
I must say that transferring money to a non-business account, but to an account of a Thai lady does not really come across as trustworthy and professional.
