- Rob: Hello Frans, From May 10 you can pre-order it from the publisher. My email address is [email protected]
- Rob: The publisher is still working on the design and I don't know the sales price yet. It will be available for purchase from May 24. I will return in October

No More Cheaptickets (Reader Submission)
I recently posted this https://www.thailandblog.nl/lezers-inzending/eva-air-is-gestopt-met-premium-economy-en-doet-daar-geen-melding-van-lezersinzending/
I found out this week that Cheaptickets had canceled my flight without reporting it! Would have been nice if I had gone to Schiphol and there was no booking for me.
Had a lot of trouble with Cheaptickets. To make a long story short: I am getting a full refund and have now booked a business class ticket on another date, because EVA Air will no longer fly premium, at least for the time being. Now booked with EVA itself and never Cheaptickets again, that may be clear. In addition, booking with EVA is even cheaper!
Now just travel in luxury and arrive rested and that can cost a bit, right?

Ticket prices have exploded in recent months. A normal ticket is almost unaffordable for the working population, let alone a ticket in business class. No, sorry, I can't afford a little luxury.
If you can afford business class, those few tens or percent extra from Cheaptickets don't matter much anymore. Different but one beer less every night.
Yes, ticket prices are skyrocketing. If you still want to go to Thailand directly with KLM in the coming months, you will already spend more than 1200 euros in economy. EVA about 1100 euros. The well-known transfer companies are cheaper, but no longer the prices that used to be. Unless you want to give Saudia a try.
Only if you book six months (!) in advance can you still fly for a normal price, at least with KLM.
I booked last week with departure in March for 700 euros.
How did you find out?
I also booked a ticket through cheaptickets for EVA.
Cheaptickets does not cancel flights. That is what society does. He passes this on to Cheaptickets. Cheaptickets, as seller of the tickets, is responsible for communication with the passenger.
It is indeed better to book with the company, or with a reputable travel agency as part of a package tour. A flight with a landing package is already considered a package trip.
Always check the website for details of your flight.
Always read the conditions of the organization where you book a ticket.
That way you can know what you are buying and under what conditions.
If you don't, this could happen to you.
Who burns his ass….
Just back from Thailand. Booked via Cheaptickets with Qatar Airways for approx. 650 euros return economy class with transfer of approx. 2 hours in Doha. Fantastic trip. 6,5 hours to Doho, stretch your legs for 2 hours and another 7 hours to Bangkok. Flight well arranged. Baggage handled well, both at Schiphol and at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Good food on board and friendly staff.
But why booked with Cheaptickets and not with the airline, can you clarify that for me? All the positives you mention are the airline's credit, not the ticket trader's...
Because I came across CheapTickets searching for a cheap return flight via the internet… is that allowed?
Cheaptickets simply retrieves the prices from the server of the airlines or do you think they can determine the prices of airline tickets themselves? Unfortunately, some people don't understand the digital world at all.
Of course that is allowed, but was cheaptickets really 'below the line', so including any additional costs, now substantially cheaper than the airline?
Totally agree. If there are no problems during the flight, then it doesn't matter much. But as soon as there is a problem, dealing with the company itself is much easier. And you don't have to leave that for the price difference. During the corona period, many travelers who booked through an intermediary came home from a rude awakening.
With some companies themselves you may only be able to book if you have a credit card? Not everyone has one of course.
At EVA you can pay with IDEAL.
The Corona period has made many people "wise". I also always booked through a ticket agency. The misery that many people had to get their money back when their trip was canceled due to Corona was sent from pillar to post, some have not yet received their money back. Fortunately, we had not booked. . We are going to Thailand on December 1. I booked the tickets directly with Emiraties and paid with my credit card. This means that the tickets are insured if something goes wrong. Never book at ticket agencies again and always pay with your credit card. Better to prevent than……..
Back from Thailand a few days ago.
I always book my tickets through BMAir. Simply doable and also arrange preferred seats on request.
Only in 2018 when booked directly via KLM.
But I got premium economy with EVA Air for the same price as KLM asked for economy…
Then it's an easy choice
