Reader submission: Dutch diving school on Koh Tao
Dear readers,
I am the Dutch owner of a diving school on Koh Tao. I permanently employ a Dutch diving staff with Thai work permits. The diving school has its own boat, all licenses including the TAT and as a diving school we are a member of a Dutch and Thai underwater association.
We are really the only Dutch diving school on Koh Tao, not a booking agent or individual instructor.
Customers are therefore guaranteed to receive lessons in Dutch with us, and they are also insured through the diving school during diving.

Regards,
Robert
Also coincidentally, we will visit you on July 19th. See you soon!
Hi Jean Paul,
Until then. And have a good trip for the whole family!
Greetings,
Robert
I hope to come diving again next year.
Was good the previous times.
Greetings
Hi Stephen,
See that would be nice!
Greetings,
Robert
I want to take a beginners course with my Thai wife, but only want to come when the sea is calmer. What period do you suggest me. Can choose a period in the whole year, we live in Cha Am.
Jeab and Ronny Cham
Hi Ronny and Jeab,
If you want a super calm sea, it is best to come around January-May. Almost no wind, so flat as a mirror.
But from experience I know that a flat sea for Thai ladies can also be quite intense. So I advise you to definitely give your wife a seasickness tablet before she gets on the boat to Koh Tao.
Greetings,
Robert
Scuba diving lesson on Koh Tao is beautiful. I did too a few years ago. But then at Ban's Resort. Also great diving school and also in 3 days Padi Openwater for 10k. and a discount on their lovely hotel stay. Coincidentally also had a Dutch instructor. Only haven't done it for a long time now. Maybe I can do a refresher course.
Hi Will,
You can always come and do a refresher course!
The next time you are on Koh Tao you should just walk in with us.
Greetings,
Robert
I did my rescue there last year.
Super relaxed atmosphere and had good lessons Sjors.
When I am on koh tao I will definitely dive with them again.
Really recommend!
Hi Leon,
Then we hope to see you again soon!
Come and do all your specialties 😉
Greetings,
Robert
Summer 2015 I did a scuba review at Impian and my son an open water course. Super friendly crew, both the Dutch instructors and the French and English speakers. Friendly atmosphere, really take the time for you and give good explanations. It's nice that Impian guides everything in Dutch, especially for my son. Owner and instructors also give tips about Ko Tao and helped with buying an underwater camera. Overall a pleasant top experience!
Hi Armanda, Marc and Djosh,
Thanks for your nice comment!
And indeed we are happy to help you for tips outside diving.
Hopefully we will see you again.
Greetings,
Robert
Clear language. And a good diving school too. Always a pleasure to dive with you.

Hi Tony!
That's why we'll see you and Marion again in a month 😉
Greetings,
Robert
