I have completed the 30 day stay “Test and Go” via the site. My experience is that now everything went very well and neatly. I took a picture of everything so I could upload it.

Here you start collecting all the documents (printing them on one side helps you take pictures as you can only upload one picture) also print them out so that you have a folder with you when you go to Thailand. Take a photo of your passport, also write down your passport number for yourself (passport must be valid for 6 months after the date of your return, please note that) the passport does not say o but zero if you have it. You should enter the start date here if you have it right, but that is self-explanatory.

For the proof of vaccination you must log in to mijnRIVM.nl and then use your DigiD. Here you take a screen print of both pages that also contain the QR code and vaccination date, otherwise just call the RIVM, not the CDC, they don't know. You make a separate photo of the QR code.

Make a print of your plane ticket (or E-ticket), if it has 2 sides, print both and place them next to each other to take a photo for upload. If you have a flight with a stopover, enter the last flight number and the date.

Take a photo of your hotel reservation here too, if it has 2 sides, print it out on one side and place it side by side for the photo. Enter the requested information such as: name, address and length of stay (or an SHA+ or ASQ hotel) use the site that is also listed here FAQ for Thailand Pass.

You should now be able to download the Morchana app, which you will need later. Now you can start submitting the documents, add the QR code of your vaccination certificate separately for convenience, this apparently makes it easier for them to check that you want to do this.

It was very easy for me because I built up the file step by step beforehand. After I submitted it on Monday afternoon, I received the QR code via email on Wednesday morning.

After this, download the Morchana app and scan the QR code obtained in this app, here you also need your passport number (useful if you have written it down).

Oh yes, have a PCR test carried out with a travel certificate up to 72 hours in advance, this costs about € 75.

I wish you a lot of traveling pleasure. I am going mid January for 30 days.

    one more addition:
I received the Thailand pass yesterday, within 5 minutes of applying.
I need a Visa for 60 days but do not have one yet, so the Thailand Pass can be applied for without a Visa, that you must have the visa in order when you leave is stated in an accompanying e-mail that you will receive upon approval of the Thailand Pass separately mentioned therein.

So you can also simply apply if you go longer than 30 days without a Visa.

Thailand Pass requested for 3 adults.:
    – my wife, dual identity (Belgian and Thai) has already received her QR code immediately
    – my son Peter, not yet received, submitted on 22/01/2021
    – for myself, not received anything yet, submitted on 22/01/2021

Is it normal that we have to wait longer?

It can take up to seven days to receive the TP. For Thai people it goes super fast often within an hour, I know from experience. For me it took exactly 7 days….
If it takes you too long, send them an email. That email address is on the page where your application number is stated.

In the past year I have applied for a CoE 2 times at the Thai embassy in The Hague. So 2 x 14 days in quarantine. Not fun. So now the Thailand pass QR. Provided all necessary information and uploaded required documents via the designated website last week. Within 5 minutes they were notified that they had received my request. And an access code. Then heard nothing for 7 days. Check the status of my request every day. review. After 8 days I had enough. I then sent an email to the appropriate authority. That same day, in the middle of the night at a quarter past twelve, ping. I looked at my smartphone. I had a new email in my inbox. And yes. The Thailand Pass QR I wanted was in. Apparently the officials had to be urged.

Unfortunately I have been waiting for 4 days.
When logged in it is still on 'Reviewing'. The approval process takes approximately 3 – 7 days.
Hope there is not a problem, otherwise it will be short day to solve any problems.
For my Thai wife, this was already approved after 1 day,

Hi question, did you take a separate photo of the QR code and upload it that way?
That's where it almost went wrong at first until I saw that if it were to be submitted separately it would go faster the check mark ✔️ you have to tick yourself

      • Ron says up

I tried but it didn't take the photo of the QR code, not even with my wife.

        • Peyay says up

Take a screenshot of the QR code (app) on your mobile phone.
Trim it down to just the code.
For example, you can (in the case of the Belgian app) upload a separate qr code for the 1st and 2nd dose.

        • TheoB says up

When I first tried out the app, I also had Ron.
On a Windows 10 laptop, with the help of free tools on the internet, the *.pdf vaccination certificate (https://coronacheck.nl/nl/print/) with the 2 international QR codes split and converted to jpg and saved separately. Then cut out and saved the jpg QR codes with a standard simple photo editing program on the laptop. Check that the files are not too large.
The first QR code was immediately accepted, the second was not. After I had cut out the second one again with slightly wider white edges, it was then accepted.

That's not uncommon, I wouldn't worry. I have applied for the pass for a total of four people. Me as the only Dutch person first, then my Thai girlfriend and two of her Thai girlfriends. Requested in the same way but they received the QR code after a few hours, I had to wait 6 days. A bit strange but in the end still just within the pre-specified time of 7 days.

I am going at the end of January and received the pass yesterday after waiting 7 days. Morchana App downloaded and everything seems OK. So only the Test before departure.

Create a separate folder for each person in case you are interrogated separately at the airport.

Papers for vaccinations can be found here

    https://coronacheck.nl/nl/print/

Then you have qr codes and your thaiPas very quickly. I had it right away because those qr codes are there.

    Have fun in Thailand.

You really are worth your weight in gold! Thank you very much for the clear step-by-step explanation. I got completely stuck because of "passport number must be on vaccination certificate" according to thailand pass. Panic, ggd and rivm don't call for anything, came here and saw your post. Google 'print corona check' and you're there with the first link. It took about 4 hours because I hadn't found a hotel yet. Nouvo city, just called, they guessed agoda at €117, reasonable price in my opinion for the stop and go. Converting everything from pdf to png feels so cumbersome, but I managed it anyway and I was approved within 2 minutes. Thx guys!

    I have the following experience:
    Everything converted to jpg (pdf2jpg.net)
    – send codes from your CovidSafe app: this contains the QR code, your name, date of birth, type of vaccines and
dates of vaccination. So no passport number.
    – confirmation with proof of payment from your SHA+ hotel (SureStay Sukhumvit2 at THB 4.650)
    – copy of your passport (only the page with photo and data!)
    – copy health insurance certificate (English language) with amount (in Euros) and mention that it also concerns Covid.

After 10 seconds the confirmation with QR code.

    success.

I just applied for it. Within 1 minute he was already inside! Supplied separately with the QR codes.

I applied for my Thailand Pass 14 days ago for my (Thai) wife and myself. My wife already had her registration and qr code the same day. Mine was returned 'rejected' after 6 days because it was not clear that I had been vaccinated twice. Only one date is indicated on the international vaccination certificate with qr code: the second.
By the way, I had entered my details exactly the same as my wife's….
Requested both vaccination dates via the CDC and had them listed in my vaccination booklet. Then go through the entire online procedure again.
Received my registration and qr code yesterday.
It usually takes more effort for a 'farang' to achieve the desired result.

After purchasing a ticket and obtaining a Visa and purchasing Covid insurance, I did a "dry-run" in the Thailand Pass system yesterday to see exactly what I would need. This morning you will immediately receive a message in the Thailand Pass system that requests for an entry ban from December 15 can only be made after December 1. Understand that the rules of the game regarding quarantine hotel are being adjusted, all quite unpredictable.

  12. piet says up

today – 26 dec – received a message in the Thailand Pass system that arrivals after 15 dec can only register from 1 dec as of XNUMX dec. so just be patient.

  13. Paul says up

Thanks for the above info. Put everything in 1 time and TP within 1 minute.
Qr code of my girlfriend had to re-cut 1 time as someone stated before.
Insurance through Aa insurance Hua Hin. Arranged via the internet in the evening, the correct documents in the email the next morning.
