After the surprise of the leak in the newly installed water pipe, both C&A and Lung Addie were obliged to stay a little longer in Nong Ki Lek. A small change in the program, but we are very flexible, especially when it comes to time.

The repair of the leak was not a problem in itself, after all we had already discussed everything the previous day and the discussion is already half the work. Its implementation was finished before noon and this time there were no leaks to be found. The day after tomorrow the electricity company would come and connect the electricity, but Lung addie didn't have to be present, everything was ready and the only thing that had to be done afterwards was to turn on the main switch. The installation had already been under tension and no surprises had come to the surface.

Because we could only leave around noon, we will probably reach Bangkok at a bad time, so we could already prepare for heavy traffic on the ring road around Bangkok, 17 pm is not exactly the best time to arrive there, but no other choice. It ends up being much better than first thought. Not a single time had stationary traffic, only some delayed traffic, so really nothing to complain about. Things are usually worse on the Brussels ring road.

We want to make a stopover with an overnight stay in Hua Hin. Then Lung addie can meet a former neighbor from Belgium, have a nice meal in the Belgian restaurant “Bij Phillippe” and have a pint at Wan. Around 19 pm we arrived at the Moo Ban where my friend Erwin lives. In this Moo Baan there is also a hotel where we can spend the night and above all, all this is barely a km from the places that Lung Addie wants to visit that evening. Had been at the wheel of the car long enough for him to have had enough.

As always, dinner at Phillippe's was excellent. His Flemish carbonades (for the Dutch: pulled meat), prepared in brown beer, are really delicious. Lung addie also prepares this himself, but everyone has their own typical taste and Lung addie really likes this one from Phillippe.

Of course Erwin and Lung addie didn't want to skip the pint at Wan. C&A chose to go to sleep, but the Belgians wanted to have a nice chat over a good pint. It ended up being a large pint because it ran longer than originally planned. I will not mention the time of landing but this time depends a bit on the source or the person who set the time.

In any case, the next day, a bit later than originally planned, but we are already used to that, back to the homestay in Pathiu, Chumphon, back with the cats Joe and Chiba ….

Was a useful stay in Isaan, now it will be a few months before Lung addie will return, it will soon be summer and then he prefers the 'coolness' of the sea and the palm plantation.

that is on the major connecting road between the main road that goes through Hua Hin and the road that goes around Hua Hin… I believe it is the 3218. Is very easy to find. If you come from Hua Hin it is on the right side of this road. The restaurant is a bit, about 100m, off the road.
