Those who regularly visit Thailand will be amazed at the variety of architectural styles and special buildings in the country and not only in Bangkok but also in the rural areas.

In this new series we show photos of palaces, museums, government buildings, churches, historic buildings, special architecture and more. What is striking are the enormous contrasts, just like in the previous series about houses.

Every day we look for photos of remarkable buildings and we continue to do so as long as the readers like it or we stop when we can't find any more photos in the database. If you have a photo of a remarkable building in Thailand, you can of course submit it for placement.

Have fun watching this new series.

The Ton Son Mosque in Bangkok. The Ton Son Mosque was built before the reign of King Songtham (1610–28) of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. It is considered the oldest mosque in Bangkok and Thailand.

    Moderator: The url is too long. If you want to post such a long url, you must first use a url shortener, for example: https://bitly.com

      OK. I didn't know how to shorten the link. Thanks for the tip.
      Here are the shortened links.

        No, certainly not. You even get an honorable mention under the photo 😉

    Good morning;
    I have never come across the image of the hotel – English style – in Chiang Mai, I have been to Chiang Mai more than 30 times.
    Does anyone know which hotel this is please? We travel to Phrae at least 2 to 3 times a year, arriving in Chiang Mai, and would like to stay there sometime.
    best regards,
    Andre
