Dear Martin,

Due to a misunderstanding, my wife in Thailand did not receive enough cooling ointment from the Netherlands. It concerns Cooling ointment without rose oil for daily application to skin in the context of Lichten scierosus.

Question: is this ointment also for sale in Thailand, if so with what name and without a prescription?

Regards,

C.

*****

Dear C,

Cooling ointment is a product of Dutch pharmacies and that is not for sale in Thailand. The main component is urea (urea). I think Ureates are for sale in Thailand. Otherwise, ask the pharmacy for an ointment with Urea 20-40%.

Sincerely,

Dr. Maarten
