Researchers at the University of Manchester may have found a new drug against malaria. A robot named Eve discovered that a substance called TNP-470 can neutralize an important molecule of malaria parasites.

British researchers report this in the scientific journal Interface.

The robot was developed in 2009 by scientists at the University of Cambridge and the University of Manchester and is able to search independently in a database of 1500 substances that are already used as medicine. The device is investigating whether these agents can also help combat diseases other than those for which they were originally developed.

Based on artificial intelligence, the robot can independently develop hypotheses and test whether the substances are effective against proteins of parasites, for example. That is how Eve came to the conclusion that TNP-470, a substance that is already used in cancer medicines, is also active against the parasite that causes malaria.

Malaria in Thailand

Although you do not have to take malaria tablets for Thailand, malaria does occur. In Thailand, malaria mainly occurs at the borders with Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Malaysia. You can suffice with anti-mosquito measures when visiting these areas. Anti-mosquito measures consist of wearing clothing with long sleeves and trouser legs, using an insect repellent with DEET and using a mosquito net.

Malaria also occurs in Pattaya and the surrounding area. It would be a gift if there was a medicine there
    to be found.

Wonderful a new drug against malaria, which can help against the increasing resistance of the malaria causative agent.
I can't call it a drug/medicine, because then a drug must be recognized by the authorities, but there is a drug, MMS, that claims to cure malaria within 24 hours.
See website: http://jimhumble.is, there you can find a lot of information and see a video, Red Cross cured Malaria, a project in which many people have been cured of malaria.
From my own and many years of experience I can say that this remedy has helped me with many ailments.
Of course this is not advice to use this remedy, everyone has to decide that for themselves after studying this site and possibly further sources of information.
    Success.
