Despite the corona pandemic, the construction boom in Bangkok continues. Wherever you look or travel to, you will always see a construction site where another condo building is being built.
The Agency for Real Estate Affairs already expected a bad year for condo sales in Bangkok last year. Buyers from China are staying away due to the corona virus outbreak. In and around Bangkok, more than 100.000 condos are empty and that number will only increase.
Nevertheless, the building continues…..

But you don't think that the prices of real estate will fall, do you?

The same here in Chiang Mai, not so much Condos, but more detached houses from 1,500.000 Baht
In San Sai or Mai Rim, you have beautiful new houses for 2.500.000 Baht.

I was taken to Bangkok for a third Covid vaccination a few days ago and looking at the condominium towers gave me goosebumps! I was extremely happy that at the end of 2008 I had my wife's house renovated, which is located in the outskirts of Bangkok! I only hear and see many kinds of birds, squirrels running back and forth on the wires from one tree to another and I occasionally see a Golden Treesnake in the garden! A neighbor's dog barks at the motorbikes that sometimes bring something, I hear chickens and very occasionally a car in our dead end street.
