Pad Thai is perhaps the most popular dish among tourists, but Thais also enjoy it. This wok dish including fried noodles, eggs, fish sauce, white vinegar, tofu, palm sugar and chili pepper has many variations with different ingredients.

Pad Thai is centuries old and is originally a Chinese (or Vietnamese) dish. In Thailand it has become increasingly famous since 1930.

In this video you can see how Pad Thai is prepared in the traditional way at a street stall. You can also easily prepare it at home, but it probably tastes better in Thailand. The dish is ideal if you want to quickly prepare a nutritious meal. In less than 20 minutes you can enjoy a delicious dish.

You already have a Pad Thai for 40 baht (€ 1,10).

Enjoy!

When I see the picture I start to drool, I look out the window and see the dark cold weather outside in Amsterdam and I dream away that I am sitting on the beach in Jomtien at my regular spot and already enjoying love my Pad Thai with a can of Diet Coke on the side. Oooh how I miss Thailand every now and then.

Wow delicious. I sometimes make it at home, but it still tastes slightly different than in Thailand.
