Most beautiful islands of Thailand: Phuket (video)
Phuket is Thailand's largest island, connected to the mainland by a bridge. This beautiful island is located more than 850 kilometers from Bangkok in the southwest of Thailand.
Phuket is mainly a beach destination thanks to the beautiful bays, white palm beaches, clear water and good accommodations. You can snorkel and dive very well. For water sports enthusiasts, Phuket is a dream destination.
Patong Beach, located 15 kilometers from Phuket Town, is the busiest beach in Phuket. Patong is also known for its vibrant nightlife. There is an entertainment area with discotheques, bars and eateries. Other popular beaches on Phuket are Mai Khao Beach, Nai Yang Beach. Kata Beach is suitable for parents with children. Most of the hotels and resorts at Kata are a short walk from the beach
The best time to visit Phuket is between November and March. The average temperature varies between 22 and 34 degrees.
Phuket is easy to reach from Bangkok by plane. You can also opt for the bus (travel time approximately 13 hours).
