Year extension with Affidavit Belgian Embassy. Just got my retirement extensive at Mukdahan Immigration. In addition to the normal forms and copies, I also used the Affidavit of the Belgian embassy, requested this month.

It was accepted without any questions, without bank receipts or anything. So it is still accepted by some immigration offices.

Reaction RonnyLatYa

As expected, some will continue to accept it and some will not. Just like it always has been. Everyone should therefore inquire at their immigration office

Thanks for reporting it.

Here in Phrae (north), identical. I did my annual extension at the beginning of July and used the affidavit issued by the Belgian Embassy. Was accepted without any problem.

in Roiet, the Affidavit with the new stamp (since July 2021) is also still accepted.

Pattaya immigration does not accept the affidavit of the Belgian embassy as sufficient and demands proof of annual amount of pension + bank guarantees + proof of deposits of 65000 per month from abroad to your Thai bank account.

That's strange, since yesterday (16/07) I received my extension in Jomtien without any problems, with the Affidavit of the Belgian embassy that I received last week by EMS. No request for bank receipts or deposits, just 1900 baht and you're done.
