The Wat Phra That Rueang Rong is located about eight kilometers from Si Sa Ket on the Yang Chum Noi road. It is an important Buddhist temple for the people of the area and is mainly visited on weekends.

It is next to a temple, also a museum. Signs along the road also indicate the temple as the 'Four Tribes Thailand Museum'. In addition to the well-known Buddhist relics, you will find a historical overview of the four peoples of Isaan: Lao, Khmer, Suai, and Yoe.

The complex also includes a kind of garden with huge statues of animals such as an elephant, water buffalo, monkeys and many more. The main pagoda is located at the top of the massive building, which boasts spectacular views over the rice paddies and villages of the Sisaket countryside.

Khan Peter:
You have temples and temples but this one is really worth it when you are in the area. I was there at the beginning of September, when the rainy season is about to end. The advantage of this is that nature in Isaan is beautifully green.

You can walk all the way up to the top of the temple. From there you have a beautiful view over the elongated rice fields. Really a picture!

Where is Si Sa Ket located? Is it possible to specify that a little more precisely? Thanks.
