Questioner: Jeff

The chapter on Pensions is clear about 'unsubscribing'. However, I cannot find what actions one should or should not take for the pension when registering as “temporarily absent”. It is probably not necessary to inform the pension service of this, but I would still like to be sure.
Is it possible to clarify that please?

In case of temporary absence, i.e. less than 6 months, you do not have to report anything to the pension service. Not even with taxes, only at your town hall. After all, you are not 'unsubscribed', just temporarily absent.
