Agenda: Sea fishing 2014 with the NVT Pattaya
Would you like to go sea fishing? Then you can join the NVT Pattaya on January 23, 2014. This annual event is popular, so register on time. 15 people can participate.
Programme:
We depart from Bali Hai Pier at 09.00:XNUMX AM. We sail around Koh Larn, fish for a while, visit an uninhabited island and swim.
Fried rice is eaten on board. Drinks such as water and cola are available for purchase on board. The water is free. The drinks are cheap.
The price for members is 700 Baht and for non-members 1.000 Baht.

Before you sign up for this, it might be useful to first read my article: “Piracy in Pattaya”. (Can be found via the “search” window on this blog).
This also took place on that “uninhabited island”! We were boarded because, according to the pirates, this area belonged to the navy and was forbidden to tourists. Our captain stood aside and let the “pirates” do their thing. We would actually have to pay 30 x 1500 Baht. Corruption on the waters around Koh Larn! Know what you're getting yourself into! It's not safe there!
What really surprises me is that there is no response from the editors to Robbie's response. Is this story correct, or are we pushing it under the public prosecutor's office? I would like to come along, but now I have to think about it.
