It's National on March 17th Muay Thai day. This is not an official holiday, but a day to reflect on the most important sport in Thailand: Thai boxing or Muay Thai.
For example, there are events in various Muay Thai stadiums and training locations. Especially in the city of Ayutthaya there is a lot of attention for the National Muay Thai day. it is home to the legendary figure Nai Khanom Tom, who is honored as a hero in Thailand. During the National Muay Thai Day there are events in Ayutthaya, the city hosts an annual festival. The statue of Nai Khanom Tom, on the provincial sports ground, is also decorated with flower garlands on this day.

(gift from the governor and the tourism office) In the evening an incredibly beautiful light show, where the battle between Burma and Thailand is reenacted. Complete with elephants and real weapons.
