The Chinese are showing increasing interest in condos in Bangkok. Especially in the areas where there are universities and hospitals. According to real estate agent Thitiwat Teerakulthanyaroj, these places are very popular with Chinese people to buy houses there.

Middle-class Chinese parents are increasingly sending their children to study in Bangkok, rather than Europe. The shorter distance, simpler visa rules and lower taxes are decisive factors in this regard.

The fact that the number of Chinese students in Thailand has increased is also due to the Thai – Chinese investments in the training institutes. According to the “South China Morning Post” and the university admissions committee “Admission Premium”, the number of Chinese students would have doubled from 10 to 10.000 in 20.000 years. The majority comes from the southern provinces of the People's Republic: Guangxi, Guangdong and Yunnan.

Another remarkable point is the great interest in IVF, artificial fertilization in Thailand. For this treatment, Bangkok has a very good reputation compared to, for example, the US, Singapore and other countries. According to research, more than 100 million Chinese would like a second child.

It is also a booming business for Chinese investors to buy condos in the vicinity of medical centers and then rent them out to compatriots!

That doesn't surprise me. The Chinese are buying up the whole world. Also in Pattaya I hear from brokers that there is a lot of buying by Chinese and Indians. Incidentally, this was also where many Japanese bought up properties in Amstelveen and rented them out to their compatriots. So it is not only allowed to this people. I imagine that all over the world the money flows where it can go. It is a pity that buying land by foreigners is prohibited in Thailand, other than under the offered fraudulent construction of a director of an empty BV with three employees. But yes, that will not change for the time being.

Given the many vacancy in Jomtien, Pattaya and Bangkok, it should not be a problem at all.
However, it remains a difficult story to obtain property rights.

It can be seen everywhere in Thailand, they buy condos and rent them out for extortionate prices.
And the trading standards they have is not pleasant.
