Questioner: Gerard

My first application for CoE was rejected by the Thai Embassy in The Hague. Although I have received a Non-0 visa based on retirement at the consulate in Amsterdam, proof of early retirement is requested. I've had a monthly benefit based on a golden handshake for years.

Does anyone have experience with proving early retirement?

Perhaps proof from your former employer, or whoever may pay it, that you receive monthly benefits?

    dear Gerald
You will undoubtedly have a letter (last employer?), in which this is confirmed. Have it translated by an authorized agency and 3 months bank transfer as proof. Doesn't that seem like enough evidence?

Submit the same proof that you provided with the visa application for your (early) retirement with the COE application. That was accepted with my application.

      Dear Erwin,

I have submitted the financial data of the past 2 months and it has been accepted.

      Thanks for your reply.

      Regards,

      Gerard.

I am also in that situation, should I leave the organization (voluntarily) at the age of 50 with an arrangement.
Too little for NL, enough to live in TH.
But that's not a pension, so stay now on a marriage basis.

Obtained my non-immigrant O 1,5 years ago in Essen in Germany on the basis of sufficient money in the bank. No pension benefit. I am now in Thailand, and have no idea how to qualify for a COE without proof of retirement income.

It doesn't have to be a special pension. I do not have a pension, but have been receiving benefits based on functional early retirement since I was 58 years old. It may make a difference that the executor is the ABP. I will receive my pension in 5 years and my AOW in 7 years. I added a letter from ABP to the initial NON O application confirming my monthly payment. 4 weeks ago I had to prove my finances again for the CoE application, despite a valid annual extension and reentry permit. Then added the last pay slip and a bank statement of the last 6 wage credits. I am now back in Thailand.

Make sure you have a bank account with an amount of 800.000 Bht or a little more. Then you will have no more problems because you also meet the requirements. And only use this account for the visa application and do not withdraw or withdraw money, then there are no more questions. Your answer is always I still have an account that I use to live on and where the money comes in. This is not information for your visa application. And you don't tell everything
