In de bijlage het antwoord dat ik kreeg van de immigratie voor een year extension online. Ik stuur het even door voor info.

Dear Applicant,
Thank you for using Thailand e-Extension Application Service provided by VFS Global.
We would like to inform you that our current online service is available for only 12 purposes to apply for visa extension.
For the current 12 purposes that applicant can apply visa extension with our VFS Thailand e-Extension online service:
2.3. Carry out duties for the government.
2.4 Tourism
2.6 Teacher, professor, or expert in government educational institution
2.8 Study in government educational institution
2.10 Teaching practice or conducting training or research in education institution or research institution.
2.12 Performing duties in the mass media.
2.15 Skilled laborer, medical expert, or practitioner of other professions
2.16 Installation or repair of machines, aircrafts, or ocean vessels
2.19 Family member of a Thai residence (Only for family member of a foreigner, NOT Thai nationality, who has residence certificate and alien registration certificate of the alien granted residence permit in Thailand)
2.23 Used to have Thai nationality or whose parent is or was of Thai.
2.28 Necessity case, Confirmation, or request by embassy (any reasons)/ (Training case)
2.31 Person in charge of conveyance or crew of conveyance

In case you would like to apply for other purposes aside from our current 12 purposes mentioned above, please contact the Immigration Bureau in your province directly.
In case your previous visa is NON-O Immigrant Retirement, please contact the Immigration Bureau directly at the Immigration Division 1, 2nd Floor, Government Complex Building B (Chaeng Wattana) – Bangkok / the Immigration Bureau in your province directly – Rural areas.

Bedankt voor je inzending.
Maar als je op de website van immigratie kijkt dan staat het er eigenlijk al dat het beperkt is tot bepaalde categorieën. Als jouw verlenging er niet tussen staat, moet je het ganse proces in je immigratiekantoor doen. Ik heb zo het idee dat als er financieel wat moet worden bewezen, zoals een bankbedrag of inkomen, dat het niet online kan. Momenteel toch niet.
Dat zijn dan bij de TB lezers meestal de retired (800 000/65 000) en Thai Marriage (400 000/40 000) verlengingen

Klik daar op e-extension
Daar staat dan al “Valid for select visa categories.”
Ga naar https://thaiextension.vfsevisa.com/index.html
Klik op “Information”
Daar vind je dan “Visa categories and Document Information”
m.a.w. de verlengingen die in aanmerking komen. Maar of het momenteel echt een voordeel is? Je moet toch nog steeds naar immigratie voor die definitieve stempel.

Step 2: Book an appointment and Pay the fees online
Step 3: Get the e-Extension visa stamp at Immigration”
Maar blijkbaar is er bij step 3 wel een aparte balie voor e-extensions zodat dat alvast snel zou moeten gaan. Momenteel zijn online extensions enkel beschikbaar in de volgende provincies:

– Bangkok
– Chaing Mai
– Chonburi (Pattaya only)
– Nonthaburi
– Pathum Thani
– Phuket (Blue Tree only)
– Samut Prakan
– Surat Thani (Koh Phangan and Koh Samui only)
