Phuket wants ten tourist information centers on the beaches
Phuket authorities plan to open 15 information centers on major beaches. This was announced by provincial governor Noraphat during the opening of the first center in Patong. Phuket is visited annually by XNUMX million tourists.
The center offers a range of services for tourists such as issuing a free map to legal advice. Students from Phuket Rajabhat University, who speak English and Chinese, will do an internship in the centers.
The information centers are planned at Kamala Beach, Kata, Karon, Nai Han, Promthep Cape, Hawaii Beach Wharf, Surin and Nai Yang. They are controlled by a center in the DDPM office in Phuket town.
The authorities will also install 3.400 surveillance cameras on the peninsula to increase the safety of tourists.

Legal advice? Why would you need that during a stand visit or should you be advised about the amount to be paid with a jet ski scam or about the Tuk Tuk driver, who you want to scam by charging a far too high price for the ride to/ from the beach. Let me stay positive and see what the effect of these Information Centers will be
would like to know where now that info center is located in patong,
In “Bangla Park” – on Patong Beach near the police box at the end of Bangla Road.
Been to the beach last Tuesday and many days before. Nothing heard or seen. Fortunately, the beach chairs are back, but unfortunately far too few. That stupid 10% zone really makes no sense at all.
