THAI will only fly from Brussels airport again in September
Posted in Flight tickets
Tags: Brussels Airport, THAI Airways, Thai Airways International
Thai Airways International (THAI) will only start its flights from Brussels Airport from September 1 instead of August, as previously announced by the Thai national airline.
It was assumed that THAI would resume the Brussels-Bangkok route on August 2, but the airline says that it will not be flown until September 1. It concerns three flights a week, until October 25, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Due to the corona pandemic, THAI has suspended all its international flights. In addition, the company is involved in a reorganization, after having previously applied for a deferment of payment.
Since July 1, the Thai Aviation Authority (CAAT) has partially lifted the entry ban on commercial international flights.

I'm flying from Munich December 11, hope that everything will turn out well for thai air! But also for the people who have already booked and paid! Then hopefully there is something to look forward to! Maby??? Grt.
From September, that is already the plan, but I don't think so.
But it is very doubtful whether they will meet that target date as there have been a few delays in forming committees to save Thai Airways from imminent bankruptcy.
Today, a number of excellencies of the Thai government resigned, including the minister of finance. The musical chairs are starting, the Thai government is being reshuffled and that will also entail delays.

Goodbye,
And who will fly to Bangkok if no one can enter Thailand (anymore)? I can now even book flights for August, but no airline will fly for me alone. you book a flight now and two weeks later you receive news that your flight is cancelled.
I think it is rather pointless to think that someone will enter Thailand this year .... and then we have to wait and see what it will be in the following years.
That's how I see it Fred.
I think it won't be possible for Europeans to enter Thailand this year.
Hopefully next year when a vaccine becomes available.
Goodbye,
I don't see this as gloomy when it started in September, it can also go very quickly, with measurements at the gate when the Netherlands is accepted as a safe country and they cannot do without tourism, hopefully the penny will also fall with them………… .
Think it will be the same in the future. Gloomy reports from Fred and Geert are unfounded, In Bangkok people are already setting up tests to be done upon arrival at the airport in Thailand and the results are available within 90 minutes. Think it will soon become the norm to take a test on arrival. and air traffic can be restarted. Then scale up to massive covid testing on arrival and then you also create employment.
