THAI International Airways will replace its Boeing 1-777ER with the Airbus A300 from August 350 on flights between Bangkok and Brussels.

This makes Thailand's national airline the second party to land at Belgium's largest airport with this new type of aircraft.

The A350 has been operational with THAI since the summer of 2016 in service with Thai. On board there is room for 32 passengers in Royal Silk Class and 289 in Economy Class.

This summer, Qatar Airways will also fly to Brussels Airport with an A350. Finnair was the first to bring this type of aircraft to Brussels.

The pitch/width is 777/350 inch on both the 32 and the 18 from Thai Airways in economy, and that is the most important thing after all. 🙂

    Thailand Airways?
    No thanks.
Expensive tickets, little or no air miles and +/- 12 hours being locked up in an airplane.
    waiting list…
    Limited hold luggage (20 Kg.?)
Better alternatives include Etihad Airways (EY) with a 1…3 hour break in AbuDhabi (AUH).
Book a flight a few times a year and you are a “Silver Guest” or “Gold Guest” with access to a lounge where you can enjoy peace and relaxation in both BRU and AUH.
Also to or from Amsterdam (had until 22-01-2017) EY has very favorable rates BKK-AMS return Economy = 20.000 THB.
From BKK to BRU, Etihad is the best buy.
Always on time and excellent service on board in both Economy and Business.
At least that's my 10-year experience.
Emirates sometimes has long transit times, a complicated airport and not cheap, which may also be claimed in this forum.
Quatar / Turkish are excluded for me when I see in BKK what kind of passengers are at the check-in counter.
    Everyone has their preferences.

Flew with Thai Airways in January, great flight. It's more what you prefer: nonstop or a stopover to stretch your legs. In any case international or domestic 30 kg hold luggage and in terms of price it is also not too bad (€ 600 +/- paid). The lounges in both AMS and BRU are appallingly bad unlike other international airport lounges (FRA e.g.)

My preference goes out to EVA air nonstop from AMS.
