Schiphol opens new parking garage
Schiphol saw the annual number of passengers rise again in 2015. This also increases the demand for parking space. With the opening of the new Smart Parking parking garage at P3, the airport is responding to the demand for parking options. The new garage has 2650 parking spaces.
In the hope that travelers will find their way easily and can easily orientate themselves, the new parking garage is being used in a colour. The principle is called natural wayfinding, in which the color of the main stairwell forms a clear beacon for travelers. By having this color reflected in the route of the pedestrians in the building, a self-evident way of signage is created.
