Qatar Airways introduces stunt rates in business class
Qatar Airways will start a daily scheduled service between Doha and Amsterdam on June 16, 2015 with a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The introduction of a new route is usually accompanied by offers, such as this promotion with business class tickets.
Travelers who book two business class tickets before March 27 will only have to pay for one. Thanks to this discount promotion, two people can fly to Doha together in business class for only 1015 euros. Qatar Airways offers transfer options to Bangkok from its home base in Doha.
The travel period for the promotion is between 16 June and 31 August 2015, which means that the summer holidays also fall within the period. With these and other offers, Qatar Airways immediately opens the attack on competitors including KLM, Emirates and Etihad.
For more information, please contact your travel agent or Qatar Airways.
In addition, to Bangkok in the relevant period, it costs 2 euros in total for 2116 people in business class on certain days and that is a real bargain. At Emirates I paid 1800 euros per person this spring.
It must be me, but what should I do in Doha? How much does the trip to Bangkok cost? How long does the transfer take? Who or which airline is flying then? Personally, waiting and switching are enough reasons never to do this.
Dear Theo Hua Hin,
If money is no object, you are certainly right, and a direct flight is of course much better.
With a flight with, for example, Qatar Airway, Etihad, Oman Air, or Emirate, you often save a few hundred euros per person with a transfer of about 2 to 3 hours. If, for example, I fly from Munich to Bangkok on December 2, 2015 to March 2016, then I pay. Even though December is actually high season, Qatar Airways costs about 460 return.
Also with a transfer in Doha, where I continue to fly with the same airline after a short stopover of about 3 hours, I save at least 300 p.p. with this offer. Together with my wife, this means a saving of about 600 Euros, which also gives an hourly wage for the specified waiting time, which most people in Europe can dream of. Moreover, it is a good compensation in connection with the poor exchange rate, which was recently written about on thailandblog.nl.
Just trying to make a test booking, June 19 to July 18, I end up at 1539,00 pp, what am I doing wrong?
2 people entered or 1 person? 1 person is 1500 something and with 2 people you come to 1000 something pp at a nl-se booking site.
You are not doing anything wrong, but the prices differ quite a bit depending on the chosen flight dates. On my first attempt I ended up with 2116 euros for 2 people. Incidentally, the 1539 per person you found is not bad either. at Emirates I never get cheaper than just under 1800 – at Singapore Airlines you lose around 4000 euros……….,,
They do have a website that also shows largely Dutch. China Airlines also does that nicely. What to do in Doha Theo? As a guest in business class, you can go to the lounge for a delicious snack and drink. Or take a nice shower and get a massage and then head back to your welcome champagne on your flight to Bangkok. Smoke worshipers can also relieve their stress and you can also buy a gift or even several for your loved one. Because 90% of men have of course forgotten that. You want to see that sales lady with her charming smile up close and chat for a minute. Sales lady? No, she was all ears for you for a minute. She gives a charming look when your PIN code appears to be correct according to the computer. If you are not on a diet and have no alcohol ban, you will arrive in Bangkok with a full belly and a large drink cone. Enjoy in moderation. Because too much drink can make the walk through Bangkok airport quite an expedition. Without fooling around. The attack on the business market has been launched vigorously and let's see how others respond to it.
We have just been able to book a ticket in business for 1058 euros per person
Departure on 26/07 and return on 06/08
You do need to book 2 tickets
waiting time in Doha is not too bad, 2 hours and 35 minutes in the departure and 2 hours and 30 minutes in the return.
And 40 kg of luggage per person, that is also a lot.
This is the price I would otherwise pay for an economy ticket during this period.
Thanks Thailandblog for your information, great, keep it up I would say
About the price you would otherwise pay in economy?
I just looked up your travel dates: the cheapest option in economy is about €650 pp Big difference if you ask me.
Apart from the price difference, I think €1000 for a return ticket (business) to Bangkok in high season is a good price. Definitely interesting for some!
Qatar business class is also very good.
