Nok Air: flight tickets with discounts for smartphones
Nok Air sells discounted fares on domestic flights to passengers using smartphones. You can book airline tickets for travel from July 4 to March 29, 2014. You'll have to decide quickly, because you can only book until July 3, 23.59:XNUMX p.m.
The discounts are given to encourage travelers to use their mobile phones when booking and paying for airline tickets.
The “Touch and Fly” promotion offers an all inclusive one-way ticket for 1.200 baht (€30) from Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket, Nakhon Phanom, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Sakon Nakhon, Trang, Ubon Ratchathani, Surat Thani, Udon Thani, Buri Ram, Chumphon, Loei, Mae Sot, Nan, Phrae, Roi Et and Ranong.
The fare also applies to routes from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son, Mae Sot and Udon Thani.
The promotional fare can be booked using the iOS app (iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch) until midnight July 3 for travel from July 4 to March 29, 2014.
I bought 2 tickets at nok air last week
DD: Fri 26/7 buriram-bkk . 60 euros 2 pers!
Absolutely great for this price!!
As far as I'm concerned, they can do more often.
Just tried again now via Ipad on which the app is installed, again it went wrong the one time with entering a (Dutch) mobile number (error code that number does not start with country code 66), then I got to input credit card data, then it was aborted at that payment process was disrupted. Really don't get it anymore...
Just checked their site but don't see those rates. Go to Chiang Rai yourself but come to the 3380 baht pp (return) Is not much of course, but can someone explain how you can book those cheap flights? Thanks in advance!
