The new passenger terminal at Phuket International Airport is expected to open next month.

With an investment of 6 billion Baht by the Airport of Thailand (AOT), Phuket should become the main airport for the XNUMX southern provinces, especially for tourists with the Andaman coast as destination and the provinces of Phuket, Krabi, Ranong, Phang Nga and Trang .

There are currently 39 airlines operating scheduled flights to and from Phuket, plus nine charter airlines. There are a total of 250 flights per day, carrying approximately 40.000 passengers. In high season, the number of flights increases to 300 per day.

From September 15, Thailand's VietJet will become the 40th carrier to begin two daily flights on the Chiang Rai-Phuket route. The plan is to also open the Phuket-Ho Chi Minh City route in the near future.

Who knows the best airline to fly from Amsterdam to Phuket ??

In what respect: food, drinks, legroom, seat width, service, total flight time – or do you just mean the cheapest?

rene, that depends entirely on the demands you place on a society. the cheapest is often aeroflot. Personally I don't want to fly with that, but that is mainly an emotional matter. I regularly fly to Phuket. I dive so I want to take 30kg of luggage with me. I like flying Siingapore. I don't think it is a disadvantage that it is a 12 hour flight from AMS. I then sleep and arrive in Phuket reasonably fit without jet lag. Singapore is also often the cheapest at 30kg.
If you want 2 short flights of about 6,5 hours, Etihad and Emerates are a good choice.
Then you also have many options to fly via BKK. So I find it difficult to give good advice.
Once again I find the service and comfort of Signapore to be excellent.
    good luck with your choice

With Emirates make a short transfer directly, almost nothing flies from this side directly to Phuket.
