This is not even close to Eva air 26010 baht, and is otherwise equal to the KLM rates, so what is the karting?
Almost 30.000 baht for a round trip? And that's 53% off? Sorry, but I don't call this an offer. As Jaap says, Eva airlines is cheaper and without a special offer.
Peter,
This article only concerns tickets from Bangkok to Europe.
The other way around is a completely different price policy. I recently bought a ticket (AMS-BKK-DUS) with Etihad for the equivalent of 19000 baht. You really don't get that from Bangkok.
So there is indeed a need for current offers for the specific route from Bangkok to Europe (the Netherlands/Belgium, etc.)
I am a fan of the Lufthansa .
Perhaps not the cheapest , but solid and reliable in the maintenance of their equipment .
Just like with KLM.
And you can not always say that about those Taiwanese and many other airlines .
But yes, economy comes before safety, I think to myself.
And certainly not to forget, they flew the German Manschaft, World Football Champion 2014, safely back to Berlin.
Jan Beute.
Nice to hear, Janbeute. I, as a former flight attendant of Lufthansa, would like to hear that. It is logical that there are differences in prices and that Lufthansa is not one of the cheapest, also has its good reasons.
You can also say: I will not buy a Mercedes, because a Volkswagen drives just as well. Is not it?
But – we have always said that in the past: people want that Mercedes for the price of a Volkswagen.
I still like to fly with Lufthansa and I fly in economy class. I have no problem with that. I used to fly to Brazil a few times with another airline. Then I was happy to fly with LH again.
It is understandable that things have changed over the years and not always for the better. The competition is tough and savings must be made. People want to pay low prices. So something has to happen that money is still being made.
And many little things help… but one thing LH never admitted to is thinking about the safety of their passengers. Good aircraft, high level of maintenance are always a priority. In addition, every effort is made to arrive everywhere on time. You know: Deutsche Pünktlichkeit (as a variation on the Gründlichkeit).
In any case, I am still a little proud that I was able to work for that company for 30 years.
Offers from BKK are certainly interesting. For example, I flew back BKK-AMS with my grandchildren aged 5 and 8. I flew myself for less than 500 euros (return AMS-BKK, so a return in the other direction) and for the children I spent about 800 euros per person. I also had to search a lot for such a rate. Does anyone have an idea why flying from Asia is so much more expensive than from Europe?
I looked on the site, but those tickets for 29.000 baht are scarce.
for 33.000 baht there are more.
The last time I flew with the Lufthansa, the seats in the new interior were so close together that I decided not to fly with Lufthansa anymore.
The seats now also have a hard plastic back and are lowered.
Stretching your legs out under the seat before you can no longer lower it and your knees are stuck against that hard plastic back.
