Finnair, the national airline of Finland that also flies from Amsterdam to Bangkok via Helsinki, is going to expand considerably. The airline is looking for XNUMX new pilots and has hundreds of cabin crew vacancies.

In addition, the airline wants to recruit 300 new cabin crew employees. It is the largest recruitment campaign ever by the Finnish airline, Finnair reports.

The new employees are needed because of the capacity growth. In October, Finnair received the first Airbus A350 XWB. A total of nineteen copies of this type have been ordered.

Earlier this year, the airline reported that capacity growth is expected to result in a total of 2020 additional staff being hired by 130. Earlier this year, seventy new pilots and XNUMX cabin attendants were welcomed.

Finnair is particularly committed to routes to and from Asia, including Thailand. The airline wants to double the number of flights to this continent in 2020 compared to the number of flights in 2010.

Earlier this week it was announced that the airline will start a code-share partnership with Jetstar Asia on December 15.
