Koh Samui: Now 25% discount on a flight ticket from Bangkok Airways
Posted in Flight tickets
Tags: Bangkok Airways, Cheap flight tickets to Bangkok, Koh Samui
Bangkok Airways has an interesting flight offer to the popular island of Koh Samui. There is a discount of 25% on the normal rates.
The airline from Bangkok offers a one-way ticket for 2.490 baht – 59 euros (excluding tax and additional costs). You can fly for this rate from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) but also from U-Tapao (Pattaya).
Koh Samui has quickly become a top destination in Thailand. There are now more than 260 hotels and bungalow resorts on the island.

Dear reader
It's a beautiful Island
but for 80 euros you fly to Saigon and that is also recommended.
Happy greetings Peter Yai
Bangkok Airways is the most unreliable airline I have ever flown with. They will not arrange anything for you if you cannot fly due to bad weather or the like. They don't tell you until the last minute, on the bus on the way to the plane.
I would rather go by boat from Surathani than direct to Koh Samui with Bangkok Airways. Moreover, the prices of Bangkok Airways are ridiculously high compared to Air Asia and Nok Air and you always have to pay for airport taxes, etc. The taxi costs from Koh Samui Airport to Chaweng Beach are also very expensive for a 5-minute ride.
Flying with Bangkok Airways is a lose-lose situation!
The listing of flight tickets is nice.
However, these are easy to find for everyone. On the one hand by registering for the newsletter and on the other hand simply by visiting the websites.
Airasia and Nokair have weekly promotions.
For example, you can fly to kon kaen in November for 495 thb.
Please note that tickets with all companies vary per day.
At Skyscanner you can, for example, set up an email alert for certain dates.
You will then be notified if there are any changes
Bangkok Airways is normally quite expensive for flights to Samui. (Samui airport is owned by BK Airways, hence) That makes the offer interesting indeed. Especially because it can be used in high season. The tax that is added is only 100 baht, so in the end you have a direct flight for less than 2600 baht from BKK to Samui, which will be about the price of Nok Air that flies to Surat Thani airport and from where you can continue by bus and boat must (is inclusive to book)
The taxi costs from Samui airport are indeed quite high, but you also pay a considerable amount to Chaweng or Lamai from the Nathon pier.
My opinion is that Samui is worth it!!!
