Yesterday on Thailandblog we mentioned a nice Open Jaw flight ticket offer during the high season, but if you don't depend on that you can save even more at Etihad.

From September to mid-December you can go to Bangkok for only € 385. Your ticket is even valid for a year. You fly with Etihad from Amsterdam to Abu Dhabi and then to Bangkok. You fly back to Dusseldorf via Abu Dhabi.

It is quick and easy to return to the Netherlands with NS International from Düsseldorf. You can already buy a ticket for € 19. Add it to the ticket price and it is still much cheaper than traveling back and forth to Amsterdam. So take advantage again before this promotion is over!

    Visit http://www.flugladen.de. Is from the same company as behind cheaptickets.nl. No booking costs are charged here. Paying with credit card cost me almost € 19, but recently you can also pay with ideal on this site without costs.

    I have already booked tickets for next year (departing in March 2015) with Etihad for €487 on the Etihad website itself. No bookings or Visa costs are charged there. The amount specified is the amount you pay. You have to look for the right days because you cannot find those prices on any day.

    I bought a ticket AMS-BKK-DUS from Etihad a few days ago for €475. The travel dates are relatively early in the future, because I will be flying to BKK on August 23 and to DUS two weeks later.

    €385 may be possible in the mentioned period. That wouldn't surprise me.

    Tip: use the ITA Matrix to find (open jaw) tickets. That software works better than Skyscanner and you can immediately enter different airports to compare.
