On Sunday 31 October, the new winter timetable for Düsseldorf International will start with new destinations and airlines. This winter, passengers can choose from 71 long-haul flights.

Whether for business travelers, private travellers, people seeking relaxation, globetrotters or cultural tourists: Düsseldorf International's new winter schedule has a suitable offer for every passenger. With 54 airlines and 131 destinations around the world, Düsseldorf International can present an even better range of flights than last winter this year.

Airberlin and Lufthansa

“In cooperation with the airlines, we are once again offering Düsseldorf International passengers an excellent route network with attractive destinations for business and private travel in this winter timetable,” says Christoph Blume, spokesman for the airport's management. For example, airlines already based in the state capital have further expanded their offers in the winter schedule.

The two largest German airlines, Lufthansa and Airberlin, are clearly strengthening their relationship with Düsseldorf International this winter by offering new destinations and increasing frequencies to existing connections. Christoph Blume: “The new and the old offer together form an addition that is unique in North Rhine-Westphalia.”

Long haul flights including Bangkok

Passengers can choose from around 71 weekly long-haul flights in winter. For example, there are flights from airberlin to Bangkok, Fort Myers and Miami. With Lufthansa to New York, Chicago and Miami. With Emirates to Dubai or with Mahan Air to Tehran. Delta Air Lines flies daily from Düsseldorf International to Atlanta during the winter – last winter the airline offered a connection five times a week.

Ticket BKK-DUS-BKK with Air Berlin now 300 euros more expensive than when I booked 3 months ago…

Hans that is always compared to offers. As you get closer to the point of flying they are often quite a bit more expensive. That's nothing new. That's just how it works. And from 1 January you also have the flight tax on top at a 45 euros pp.

I did not book on an offer, but paid the regular price at that time. It remained the same for weeks. And there are countless airlines that sell the last seats cheaper.
