Dear editors,

I will leave for Thailand in March and after a few weeks I will go to neighboring countries, after which I want to stay in Thailand again for 4 weeks. On the site of the consulate in Amsterdam I read that when entering by land, you can stay for a maximum of 2 weeks. An acquaintance says that 30 days is now the rule.

Is this correct or is by plane the rule?

Dear Will,

Upon entry by land you will also receive a “Visa Exemption” of 30 days. By land there is a limitation of 2 entries on an annual basis.

So you don't have to worry.
