Dear Editor/Ronny,
I cannot open the Thailand visa file, hence this question. I wish to apply for multiple entries using form TM8. What other documents (or copies) do I have to submit?
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Piet
Dear Pete,
The form is titled: TM8 – Application for Re-entry permit in to the Kingdom. It serves to request “Re-entries”. No entries. “Entries” are part of a visa and you cannot obtain that in Thailand. “Re-entries” yes.
Available as “Single Re-entry” (1000 Baht) or “Multiple Re-entry” (3800 Baht). The following standard forms are usually requested.
- TM8 – Application form
- 3800 Bath for Multiple or 1000 Baht for Single
- Passport photo
- Passport
- Copy page personal data
- Copy page visa and/or last extension
- Copy page last “Arrival” stamp
- Copy TM6
Depending on your immigration office and how far they are with their IT, fewer forms may need to be submitted. Sometimes they take a photo themselves, or retrieve the latest data from the database.
For your information. You can also request “Re-entries” at the airport, but if you have the time, do it before. You never know how tight your time will be when there are a lot of people. I usually keep it on hand in case of an emergency.
For your information.
The Dossier has been removed from the blog because many things were outdated.
A new version will be released later this year.
