Dear Editor/Ronny,

I moved from Pattaya to Phon Charoen province of Bueng-kan, I got a retirement visa in Pattaya. Can I do my 90-day report in Bueng-kan and also apply for my new visa there or do I have to go to Pattaya for that.

I have to extend my new retirement visa in December.

Regards,

Huib

Dear Huib,

If you move, you must also let your new immigration office know. You can do this with a TM28 form – Form for aliens to notify their change of address: www.immigration.go.th/download/ see No. 27

From then on you just do the 90 day report, request year extension or anything else you need immigration with in that office.

If you're there anyway, it's best to immediately ask what rules they have. May be slightly different from what you were used to before.

Regards,
